The Four Keys/sword of Metatron/32 Paths

In the Sepher HaZohar commentary for this weeks parsha, Acharei Mot, is a seemingly obscure writing about the four keys that are mentioned in other places in Zohar. These are referred to in the aggadah/legends as being given to Eliyahu/Elijah and having the power of openings- bringing rain, bringing bread, opening the womb(of a sterile woman) and opening the tomb(raising the dead). Obscure references to these keys and there relation to the megraphia, the shovel of fire(a sacred vessel), can be found in a couple of places in the Zohar. Here in this section the four keys are related specifically to the four directions of the world but they are blended colors together rendering one color. Out of these four keys with the color of four precious stones we have related the connection to the sixty strong warriors led by one youth. From the Song of Songs in reference to the guardians of King Solomon’s bed, this youth always refers to Metatron , one of the two Cherubim that supports the throne of initiation. In fact we have a description of the very sword of this being, which is quite unusual and for people into the practical received kabbalah it has been a reminder of the whispered teachings about the fashioning of the kedoshim, the holy vessels of Solomon’s wisdom. These “vessels” are directly related to initiation and the tikkun olam, the repair of the world by bringing the sacred throne into the physical, always involving the two guardians, the cherubim.
The youth girded with the sword is said to stand in thirteen worlds(ten directions(endpoints of five continuums) and three “zero” forms of light(ain soph). The sword is described, “There is a crystal mirror on this sword. On the top of the sword glistens the color red in the midst of the crystal” Then it continues, They (the valiant warriors)turn forward in several ways and no one knows them except one WORM that swims among the fish of the yama/the sea. All rocks that pass over them break up.” Those familiar with the legends can discern the obscure reference to the shamir, which is sometimes described as a small worm, the size of an omer/seed, that breaks all hard rocks and was used by Shlomo/Solomon to build the temple. All of this has to do with the lineage of initiation of Solomon and an earlier reference to Solomon and Hiram point this out in a surprising way. It tells us that with his wisdom Solomon explained to Hiram that he was not a deity as he had proclaimed himself! Hiram had stated that he sat in the seat of the Elohim. Therefore Solomon had explained to Hiram the difference of a temple-school of initiation verses the land of magic that Abraham left where magicians thought themselves to be the seats of power they discovered. This in a sense saved Hiram from great difficulty and caused peace to occur between them. “ And Adonai gave Solomon wisdom. And how did Solomon display this wisdom that HaShem gave him? First in this way that he made Hiram assume a more modest frame of mind. For we have been taught that Hiram at first set himself up as a god, as it is written,” Thou hast said that I am a god, I sit in the seat of Elohim(Ezek.28:2)”. Solomon however with his wisdom induced him to give up these claims, and he deferred to him, and therefore it is written, “and there was peace between Hiram and Solomon”.(ZoharIII-61a). We also know from the Book of Enoch that Metatron himself got in big trouble for sitting in the world of the throne and thereby leading astray one of the four sages, called Acher, who entered paradise. This sage thought there were two powers in heaven when he saw Metatron sitting and the Cherub was punished with sixty lashes of fire for this infraction. We have here a teaching about what we are here for and what we are not here for. Peace is spreading in this world as people come into understanding the deeper wisdom of a world built by a temple-school of initiation. Love pours out of the source of the creation and can be accessed by all peoples who
learn the ways of the waters that come and go from the great Yam, the sea of beingness. Miriam as stated earlier was a Chieftess of the Sea, a Mar-Yam and the water of wisdom flows from the deep places freely. The entire world is at the threshold, the brink of this leap, this quantum leap from an empty four continuum competitive race to where?, to loneliness. The horrible slaughter
on the college campus, with 32 people and the killer himself, the 33rd death, reveals in a horrific form the twisted mirror image of the fulfilled being journey. We are told that the concealed paths of the life journey , in the first line of the Seher Yetzira, the primer of Kabbalah, are Beshleshim vaShteim - 32. We know this hints at a five continuum world, for a five-D hypercube has 32(lev/lamed-beth=heart=32) corner points. This means that each fully alive and in Love and wisdom-Chesed- human being lives in the center of a vast world of being like a cube with 32 corner points surrounding them. Any other person we meet in our life journey can be like one of these point like portals connected to the big Yam, the sea of soul. We are the 33rd centerpoint, like the great 33rd day of the counting of the omer, when only good stuff happened. Lagb’Omer, the 33rd day brings us to the tiphereth of tiphereth if we are counting up the tree of life/Etz Chaim, the place of beauty and balance, opened to a great love. The “Jewish” take on purgatory, the gehinnom is a place severed from the flow of loving friendship, comrades walking the journey that connects the two oceans, the souls of this world-the kingdom, and the upper world-Binah, where we climb to open, the yovel, the jubilee gate of fifty that opens the upper waters of love to the entire globe.

The Fiftieth Gate of Binah/The Divine Throne

The vertice or endpoint of the fourth continuum of time is called Binah, understanding. In the worldview of the kabbalist we live in five continuums which encompass ten special vertices or "endpoints" . These move from empty space-time coordinates to directions fecund with meaning and beauty. This way of orienting in the world is likened to the famous Navajo prayer that includes
“In beauty may I walk,
With beauty before me may I walk
With beauty behind me may I walk
With beauty above me may I walk
With beauty all around me may I walk
It is finished in beauty(from the night way chant)
This prayer sanctifying the beauty of all the directions of our journey here, is pure Kabbalah. We are in that period of the yearly cycle that we conciously remember daily our walk up the mountain called Har Sinai to receive illumination. This especially involves the fifth continuum and our way of acknowledging the being realm. We count seven times seven days and the fiftieth day is the festival of Shavuot, the receiving of the eternal revelation. These days are woven together with the spheres of our life’s journey that are actually the ten possible directions we may journey in the creation. They end in that sphere or omak/depth called Binah, understanding. This “place” contains the fiftieth gate and is said to actually hold the divine throne of initiation. This is the very place that souls/beings come from. This is their source place. The number value of the word Binah =Beth-yod-nun-heh- 2-10-50-5= is 67. As the readers are here reminded often, we entered a special period of history in the year 5750 with the return of Eliyahu/Elijah at the Pesach/Passover as prophesied in the Book of Splendour/Zohar. This forty year period now parallels the forty years in the desert that we read about in Torah. So you can see that there is a synchronous journey happening right now between our yearly festival cycle and the larger multi-millennial cycle. We are on course for a global Sinai awakening that is involving a major evolutionary leap in understanding right smack dab into the five continuum world view, from a flat Earth to a spherical one! In our little climb while counting the omer/grain-seeds some Kabbalists have mapped this out as going from the upper gate=Binah to the gate of Kingdom, Malchut, which is a vertice/endpoint of the fifth continuum of being. Arriving fully in Malchuth actually unites the two “mothers” Binah and Malchuth(upper and lower realms, being and physical), the divine throne is secured in the physical and the “Creator is on the Throne”, the goal stated in Sepher Yetzirah, the primer of kabbalah. We do have a special day marking a base station on the climb of Sinai, if you wish. This is LagB’omer, the holiday of Kabbalah on the 33rd day of the climb. This is May 6th this year. There is great potential in these 50 days since as explained the beginning of the historical liberation into a world of peace actually began at the Pesach of 1990/5750 and so we might expect great miracles of awakening as we are in the walk of becoming a people, an enlightened global community ready to receive the living Torah of peace at Sinai. Since we are now in the 18th year since the forty year period of the ingathering began and the number of this Hebrew year is 67 we can see the relationship to the sphere of Binah(value=67)which is said to hold the 50th gate of liberation into the place of illumination. Since another level of the nature of the omer/seed has been revealed in the world as the crystal Shamir from the tradition of Aggadah/legends and the magical lineage of Solomon, we are in a revealing of the true Torah at the level of Malchut/kingdom, the crystalline stardust of Earth. The Sepher HaZohar , the kabbalistic masterpiece of literary wisdom from ancient times speaks specifically of the place of Binah in the section on this weeks Torah parsha, Tazria. After talking about the Creator as a sower of seeds as the manifold works of the creative process, It says, “ From wisdom everything is made and accomplished. Hence by understanding it is established(Mishlei 24:3). It therefore says, “in wisdom have You made them all in Binah.” and in the Aramaic; “veal coolam bechockmah ayseta beBinah” (Zohar III-43a). Many people are coming into this deep place of understanding. This place that holds the wisdom of how the continuum or realm of being, is a primary player in the creation. Life is not only an apparent byproduct of long evolutionary cycles and chemical mixes. Life is an active manifestation of the realm of being which is primary to the continuum of time itself. Life manifests through time, whose gates are called Chockmah-Binah(wisdom-understanding) in Kabbalah, and space(six other sephirot)as the seeds, the omerim from the being realm(keter/crown-malchuth/kingdom road in kabbalah).These being seeds/souls develop into their unique patterns of beauty and richness. The world right now is like a pressure cooker to bring folks into direct revelation of the choices of what direction we face on our journey. We are all walking Har Sinai now!

The Mouth of Miriam’s well/ the crystal omer/seed

We are now counting daily the omer seed grain to number and remember the journey from liberation from Mitzrayim at the Passover, to illumination at Shavuot on the Har/Mount Sinai. There we receive the holy tablets. Involved in all this are the ten things spoken of in the last post, from the ancient Hebrew legends/aggadah. Everyone knows the story of the shattered first stone tablets but it is only through the oral torah and teachings that we may understand why Miriam had the stone that was the well of water and wisdom for the people in their journey to illumination and people hood. The written torah tells us that when Miriam died, the mouth of the well closed up and the people were thirsty in the desert. This means that a great wisdom apparently died with her(or went underground!), a wisdom involving how to carry and treat the sacred stone given to the people. This is where the famous striking of the rock with the scepter of Moshe/Moses, another of the ten things created in the twilight of the first Sabbath, comes on the scene. For those who know the mysteries, this scepter is itself made of a sacred rock, called a sapphire, a play on the word sepher which also means book in Hebrew. In the ark of the covenant held in the mishkan, the tabernacle, we are told three items were contained therein. The tablets from Sinai, the scepter of Aaron, and the flask of manna. All of these were listed in the list of the TEN things created in the twilight. And all are related to the crystal seed called the shamir, the smallest of all the listed items. The shamir was needed to build the beith HaMikdash, the Temple of Solomon. The word shamir has the same root as the word for shomer,- keeping or guarding something sacred as the Sabbath. Yes indeed here we have the holy of holies of the initiatory lineage involving the kedoshim, the sacred vessels from the Temple. This is the greatly guarded and kept secret of the received kabbalah. The word shamir also contains the word Shem, the Name, a sacred name of the Divine Mystery. So where is Miriam involved in all this? She who was and is the keeper of the neshamah of the Earth, the Shekinah herself, knew something about how in community the special crystal seeds need to be carried and kept so that the mouth of the well of wisdom would flow for the people. The count of the fortynine of the Omer from liberation to enlightenment and the gates of understanding opening within person to person, gives us a hint at what we might do with the crystal gates in order to make a little more visible the third holy house. This is the long awaited third Temple which actually encompasses the entire Earth now in this special forty year period of time. The calendar and holy days are giving us some interesting synchronicity in this special work of making a world at peace. All the five Christian calendars have coincided this year in their simultaneous celebration of the Easter holiday. This is actually happening at the sixth day of the Pesach festival. A hint at how important the Christian prayer form has been in this past fifth and sixth millenium. read the past post on how this prayer form has ensured the bringing in of the Angel guardian of Rome into the hebrew lineage tradition. This is now contained in a sense in a microcosmic form, encompassed within the eight day festival of the Pesach. A hint at the global resurrection that the haftorah of Ezekiel, which was chanted on the Sabbath, gives us a view of happenning in our times, right now. The opening of the mouth of the well of Miriam, the return of the sacred crystal shamir/seed is enveloping a global reawakening to a world view that contains the being realm as a primary player in the universe. We keep praying for peace - all around the world.

The Well of Miriam/The stone Omer

The legends, aggadah, teach us that ten very special items were created in the twilight of the very first Sabbath. These ten items carry great significance, for they render to us the essence of the tenth song of redemption. They have an intrinsic interrelationship that reveals to us the great secrets about the light without end and the relationship of this light to the material creation. The ten things are listed as follows;
The mouth of the Earth(which engulfed Korah)
The mouth of the well(which supplied water in the wilderness)
The mouth of the ass(which spoke to Balaam)
The rainbow(as a sign after the flood)
The manna(from heaven)
The rod(of Moses)
The shamir(for building the temple)
The shape of the written characters(on the tablets)
The writing
The tablets
There is a symmetry here that reveals how these ten things may be related to the ten directions we have to move in in this five continuum creation. The first three are mouths and the last three are part of the tablets from Har Sinai. These all speak therefore in a sense. They therefore in a sense encompass the three dimensions or continuums of the physical space- the six faces of the cube of space described in the Sepher Yetzira. The four remaining things may then be understood as encompassing the other two continuums- time and being/soul. The smallest of all these things is the Shamir. The Shamir we are told in the legends was used by Solomon, Shlomo Hamelech, to cut the stones needed for the building of the Holy temple, the Beit HaMikdash. It is said to be like a living precious stone, as hard as a diamond and about the size of a barley grain, an OMER.
We now begin the count of the omer to mark the gates from liberation to illumination, from freedom to the enlightening great peace, the Shalom Shalem. In a sense, like the sephirot, the spheres or depths of the Kabbalists, all the ten sacred things can be wrapped up into each other. The essence of essences is a seed like gate the size of an OMER. This is the stone that Daniel predicted would come and establish the great peace. This knowledge contains the reality of what the rock is, that was a well, that Miriam carried in the wilderness. This rock kept the people alive. This well has returned to Israel and is for the entire Earth. The counting of the Omer is the walk of remembrance given to the holy peoples. The Earth is rooted in the crystal seed. Heart of Heaven, Heart of Earth. Be prepared for great miraculous happenings in your personal life walk and in the global turn. We have the “ mouth of the well".

Prophecy of the awakening/Zohar vayera

The now very famous prophecy for a full global awakening is found in Zohar Vayera 119a. It first mentions a partial awakening on or by the time that the sixty years passes the threshold of the sixth millennium. If the intent is actually a beginning awakening “by” the year 5760 then this corresponds to this writers own experience and study of the unprecedented happenings in the years 5750 and 5751. Various commentaries discuss what the date of the “threshold” might mean. Rabbi Abraham Azulai points to 5760 in his Sepher Hesed Abraham(19thc-ce), as the important pivotal year in prophecy. Remember 24 hours in a day. Six days have 24x6=144 hours. Each hour a forty year generation renders 144X40=5760. We then entered the seventh “day” generationaly in 5760, the threshold from the sixth to seventh millennium was then passed over. The fact that this year 5760 coincided with the Gregorian Christian year 2000 is very noteworthy since this is the rendering of the crossing into the final millennium of the seven in Christian timing. If this indeed all points us towards 5760 as the year Zohar is telling us is the threshold then we must ascertain that six and one half years after this point does possibly mean this Pesach/Passover season. Six years brought us through the year 5766 and the half is half way into this year 5767 which brings us to this month of Nissan. Zohar tells us this is when a full awakening would occur. Our times are indeed auspicious for another leap, another level into a global soul remembrance. One translation of this incredible and timely prophecy goes like this, “When the sixtieth year shall have passed over the threshold of the sixth millennium, the God of Heaven will visit the daughter of Jacob with a preliminary remembrance(p’qidah). Another six and a half years will then elapse and there will be a full remembrance of her;”(ZoharI-119a). The words for passed over the threshold are in the Aramaic-“evourah dedasha”. The word dedasha means door and the word evourah means passing or passed but it has other shades of meaning. It is also the root for evrounot which means to intercalate, a reference to the specific action of calculating sacred calendar timing.
At looking at just the numbers in my posts last year at this time, it did seem like it was speaking of Pesach 5766 but the intent is really for a full six years and one half -after- the threshold which is then our time right now! We most likely are now passing another great gate into the techiyas hametim, the enlivening of the dead. Another level of soul awakening. The high profile discussion and anouncements from the Moslem world about the imminent arrival of the 12th Imam-Imam Mahdi is having global affects on the awareness of the Earth as great mystery Temple of initiation. His description dealt with in a previous post explains a lot about the unification of the seventy lineages.We always pray and hope for another quantum leap of awareness, great miracles, which is the essence of it all anyway, life is such a miracle!, and the great Shalom Shalem.Peace and a Great Pesach!

Light is the Raz/The Secret

The Zohar tells us for this coming week in the part “The Faithful Shepherd” within the section on Zav, that the Raz=resh-zayin(207value) which is the word for secret, is the awr=aleph-vav-resh(207value),which means light. This weeks Torah portion is all about the altar and the holy of holies in the temple mysteries. So this is all about working with this world of densified light=matter, in relation to the upper world of endless light. Einstein knew this relationship intuitively and wrote it into an equation. The Zohar is a book whose name which means splendor itself implies the splendorous light. This is the light ain-soph-awr- the infinite light without end - a negative(ain means no-thing) phrase which is the Hebrew wisdom tradition’s form of the Zero. This same zero was held in great esteem by the ancient Maya Indians of the Americas. In fact the highest level of initiation in the American wisdom lineages was and is called the “Zero chief“. The American indigenous lineages of initiation have used the circle=zero shaped medicine wheels to reflect the stages of the temple initiations. These wheels are found in the Zohar as well and delineated in the book Eshel Abraham, an antique commentary on Zohar. The wheel or circle is a big Zero and has always represented the divine in the physical. Remember the letters of the Hebrew alphabet - 22- divided by the sacred -7-number of the Sabbath and her cycle gives us the closest number approximation of Pi =22/7 the intrinsic irrational relationship of the circle; circumference and diameter. The Sabbath as the diameter that bridges the circle of all possibilities(the 22 Hebrew letters)is the weekly prayer form that has made our global work successful. The throne of initiation had to come fully into the physical with at least three great religious prayer traditions honoring the seven day week. The secret is light. We are making this light -without end- fully conscious and fecund with our daily walk on Earth. The secret- Raz- is also at the heart of the word for iron-Barzel- whose letters as we have mentioned before represent the initials for the four mothers of Israel(Bilhah-Rachel-Zilpah-Leah) - the priestly lineages that encompass the entire Earth. Each of these women are as the wings of the two Kerubim - four wings that support the throne from which souls are engendered in the fifth continuum. This weeks Zohar parsha also reminds us of the relation between the kerub called Mettatron and the name Shaddai - both names having the value 314. The kabbalists have always had the precise era of the great redemption encoded here in these words and numbers. The active work in the world of assiyah(doing) has been of the kerub called Sandalphon who is said to weave the prayers together in this world for the upper world.. This has been the occupation of Elijah Ha Navi-Elijah. The other work is that of the Kerub Mettatron who is discussed extensively in the Hechalot(palace)literature. He has seventy names himself and so the great ones that have appeared among the men and women of the various nations have had his help. Remember at the end of the written Torah it tells us that Moshe rabbeinu-Moses- was the greatest prophet to have arisen among the people of Yisrael. It does not mention all of the worlds' peoples. Shaddai as Mettatron has been fully involved with many of the seventy nations of the world. This has been the work of uniting the various lineages. The secret of the times of completion of the works of this awr-light- among the nations is that the sacred name Shaddai is related to the sephirah - yesod(foundation)-also called zaddik which is given to the sixth millenium-5000-5999 of the Jewish calendar(each of the seven lower sephirot equal one millennium). Shaddai=Shin-daleth-yod=314 which occurs in ONLY two dates in the Hebrew rendering of the dates in this whole fifth millennium. These are 5314 and 5714. The first date involved the life of the Holy Lion- the great kabbalist the Ari. The second date began the true beginning of the epoch of this final geulah-redemption that we are living NOW. This date has been hidden on every mezuzah of every house, and the shearim-gates, of the Jews for millennium. And here we are. The famous book Sepher Raziel- tells us that the secret of the mezuzah is the hidden Barzel-Iron. This involves the completion of the unification of all the seventy lineages(Shema=shem-ayin-from previous post) and the face to face meeting of the Kerubim here in our Earth. Blessings for the great Sabbath. We have achieved all the dates and we are now at the 18th holiday of redemption since the work of the Kerubim took a novel turn in the world in 5750. 18 = Chai and the kerubim are connected to the Chayoth, the living creatures. The Zohar tells us emphatically for the parsha Zav that we have entered a new epoch that does not require the Temple sacrifices to unite the upper and lower worlds. This has been accomplished: “How many lights were created before the world was created? He answered: Seven(sephirot): namely, the light of the Torah, the light of Gehenna, the light of the garden of Eden, the light of the Throne of Glory, the light of the Temple, the light of repentance, the light of the Messiah. Similiarly seven lights were attached to Aaron, and he lit the lower lamps from the higher. Rabbi Eleazar quoted the verse: “ All was from the dust”(Eccles)”We have learnt he said that everything is from the dust, even the orb of the sun. But from what dust? From that which is under the Throne of Glory. In the Book of Rab Yeba the Elder it says that paths went forth in all directions and then met again to give light, like the dust that is thrown in all directions and yet returns again to dust. The dust was that of the Sanctuary, which again was from the supernal dust.”(Zohar III34b) After this incredible explanation of how light is matter in various forms the Zohar continues to tell us, on this commentary on parsha Zav which is about the various sacrifices on the altar of the ancient Temple,” He who studies the Torah needs neither peace offerings nor burnt offerings, since the Torah is superior to all and the bond of faith: wherefore it is written, “Her ways are ways of pleasantness and all her paths are peace"(Prov.III,17)"(Zohar III35a). The Zohar on the parsha Zav then finishes by telling us of the smell of the fresh myrtle branches that keep our upper soul with us after the Sabbath day moves into the week. We have it all here in the simple yet profound forms of nature all about us. Yes, the act of smelling a fragrance of a tree may unite the upper and lower worlds now. This is the month of miracles!

The Earth is a ball!/Spring miracles

This coming Tuesday is the first day of Nissan, Rosh Chodesh, a brand new lunar cycle and the vernal equinox, the first day of spring. The length of the day is exactly equal to the night. Last weeks Torah portion ended the book of Shemot with a detailed explanation of the mishkan, the tabernacle. The Zohar on this tells us a lot about the function of this technology in relation to the living creatures, the ophanim and the seraphim. It tells us that this technology was completed on the first day of the month of Nissan. This links the month of miracles with this very special technology built of certain metals and special colors, with the “placing the Creator on the throne” through the redemptive process. This is a major theme of the temple mysteries and the wisdom tradition. The basics of all kabbalistic work both practical and theoretical is built on the principle that the entire creation is made of five continuums and not just the four continuum world view generally acccepted in the world today(3 of space and one of time). In the Zohar’s commentary on the first parsha of the Torah for this week, Vayikra, we have an astounding statement about how the Earth is actually a sphere. “ “in the book of Rab Humana the Elder it is explained further that all the inhabited world is circular like a ball, so that some are above and some below, and the strange appearances of certain races are due to the nature of the air but they live as long as other men. Further there is a part of the world where it is light when in another part it is dark, so that some have night while others have day. Also there is a place where it is always day and where there is no night save for a very short time.”(ZoharIII10a)The Book of Splendor, the Zohar appeared during the 1300’sCE when most all of the world was still sure the Earth was flat. Here we have the details of a full leap in understanding about the nature of the world and it’s functioning. Likewise the Sepher Yetzira which first appeared in manuscript form in the 8th or 9th century CE gives us the details of the five continuum world view which still is only understand and lived by a very small minority. The Yetzira chapter 1:5 tells us: "Ten sephirot of nothingness: Their measure is ten which have no end

A depth of east
A depth of west

A depth of north
A depth of south

This simple stating of five continuums with ten vertices(endpoints without end) is astounding.
The global soul awakening that is happening now, in this period called the “ingathering of exiles” is exactly about this leap in world view as the leap from the flat Earth to spherical Earth was a few centuries ago. . Another stage in the awesome nature of the creation is being realized. A part of this leap involves the return to the world of the technology of the mishkan, which joins the beings of the fifth continuum - “upper world” with the physical manifestation in a way that the Zohar likens to a man and woman in a face to face “embrace”.

The Source of all the colors/ Jeweled Throne

The Zohar on the Torah parsha for this week Vayaqhel, continues to elucidate(from last post) about that “point” in the terrestrial world that connects the throne world itself in the the fifth continuum(being world), to our physical world. The quote is; “Now, although we said that the Lower Eden is on earth, and it is indeed so, nevertheless the subject is a most recondite one, the fact being that the Supreme Point mentioned above has its part in the lower world as well as in the upper world, the Lower Garden being the portion of that Point through which it communes joyfully with the souls of the righteous on earth, and thus is filled with celestial and terrestrial delight, communing above with the Righteous One and below with the product of the Righteous One(the souls of the righteous).”(Zohar II211a)The Zohar continues a little later with, “ And above the firmament that was over their heads was as the appearance of a sapphire stone, the likeness of the one(Ezekiel,26). This firmament , said Rabbi Simeon, is as the lower firmament…above that firmament, there is the sapphire stone, that precious jewel by which it is adorned”(Zohar217a)Here by the Aramaic we have the Eben saphir being described as “a margalet tava” a precious pearl, however here the term margalet is a plural instead of the singular in the translations which is actually Hebrew instead of the usual margalin plural that the Zohar uses. This is however the same jewel rendered red or purple in color and it is the heart of the technology of the Hebrew mysteries. It is also described as the Argaman=purple and this word contains the initials of the angel beings of the four winds , Raphael, Gabriel, Michael and Nuriel. In this portion of Zohar it also goes into an in depth explanation of these four chiefs and their relation to the four Chayoth.
This precious jewel is a stone found in the earth’s crust. This is the most holy sepher/saphir book whose passing on from person to person is a big part of the whispered path of initiation that is called kabbalah. This portion in Zohar also encapsulates the magnum opus/the great work of the unification of all the human soul lineages in the physical; “The term Shema(hear) is esoterically analyzed into Shem(name) and the letter ayin(=70), that is one Name comprising seventy names whilst remaining a unity. ”(Zohar II 216a) Here is also implied the unification of the sacred lineages of the seventy nations of the world as the ultimate work of the temple mysteries in the physical. This word for one in the prayer of the Shema,Echad, itself has the gematria number value of thirteen as does the word Ahavah, love. The stone develops as the cubic form does in the Earth’s crust the twelve sides of the dodecahedron from the twelve edges of the basic cubic form and the center point, the hidden point is the thirteenth. The ark of the covenant is mentioned and it’s shape is discussed. This section with the title, Vayaqhel; and he gathered is s summary of the gathering of lineages from all quarters of the globe and the heavens in order to bring the spouse of HaShem into a physical creation. She is the very holy holy Sabbath and the completion of the unfolding work of the nine degrees of chayot Hakodesh, the holy living creatures in the created world. This coming spring/Passover is the eighteenth Nissan/pesach season coming since Eliyahu/Elijah has returned in the physical. This 18 is the chay(chet-yod=18) that carries the unfolding seed of life in the creation. It is the root word of the Chayoth, the living beings who hold the Throne of initiation. We pray for the great peace she brings into the world.

Here is an awesome prophecy hidden in the Sepher HaZohar for this weeks Torah Parsha;

" Now all the children of the east who inhabit the mountains of light will be worshiping the light which heralds the sun before it appears. For the sun himself has many votaries, but these are the worshippers of his harbinger, which they call the “deity of the shining pearl” and their oath is by ela-h of the shining pearl. Yet say not that this is idle worship for there is a wisdom in it known from former ancient days. When before the rising of the sun the light shines forth, the angel appointed to rule and guide the sun steps forth with holy letters of the supernal blessed name inscribed upon his brow, and in the power of those letters opens all the windows of heaven and flies out. Then he enters into the aura of brightness which surrounds the sun and waits there till the sun himself arises to spread his light over the world. And the same angel who is the guardian of the sun is appointed also over gold and rubies; therefore the sun worshippers and the votaries of dawn worship the angel, and by certain spots and signs which they know from tradition and which they perceive in the sun, they find the place of gold and rubies.”(Zohar II 188a) The phrase “deity of the shining pearl” is in the Aramaic” elaha d’margala Danaher”. This paragraph contains a play on one word which is pretty messed up in the various translations. The margala is singular for jewel or pearl and then the Aramaic plural is margelan and is translated as rubies or jewels. It is specifically called “red” in the phrase “margelan soomakan”. This jewel holds the great key for the nature of the technology of the Hebrew priesthood. It is also found as the root of one of the seventy names of the angel Metatron from the book of Enoch. We continually have themes about the great secrets in this book Zohar that are found woven into and hidden and then restated for those who can understand what this is about. We have here the “signs” or “letters” or “spots” on the brow of the initiates who herald the dawn of the illuminating light in the world. This restates the theme from the signs on the baby Moses in Shemot to the details of the signs as letters on the faces of initiates in Zohar on Yitro. Then in the Lesser holy assembly book within Zohar we have the exact placement of these letters on the face of Zeir Anpin. Here in this portion on Ki Tisa we have again the technology that interfaces with the being world as the sacred jewel, the margala and the jewels as margelan. We again have the sacred letters as a sign on the brow of the initiate. Last weeks parsha commentary gave us the form of the sacred jewel by the number twelve of those on the breastplate. The number twelve is that of the edges of the cubic form or the sides of the dodecahedron which shape cubic crystals develop sometimes into, in the earth’s crust. It is all here, the holy form of the scepter of Aaron as the staff/mateh of the angel Chief of the Seraphim, the beings who make the stars and the sun shine. The modern preoccupation and search of Indiana Jones and his cohorts for the lost secret treasure is really a hidden theme revealed in the Zohar. This is the map to the treasure. This is the whispered kabbalah. Since we are right now in the dawn of the radiant source of the sun and all the suns as stars the secrets are coming into the light of the day. The shadows of this revealing solar light are also now being found with news such as the continued misunderstanding and abuse of special numbers and values(and misuse of political power) such as the 666 as the value of the kamea of the sun, the number expressing the radiant lightning bolt of emanation. The nature of this radiant source is a gift called in physical terms the mateh or staff in the Hebrew and the vajra dorje in Asian traditions. The Asian prophecies(Tibetan and Hindu) predicted the exact year it would come back into active possession in the human world as related to the form of the animal the white horse(form of the kalki vishnu). The special year 5750/1990 as predicted in Zohar was in Asia the year of the white(iron/barzel) horse. The ingathering is a global phenomena. We are all relations.

The lightning bolt and the Web

This weeks Torah portion involves the sacred 12 stones in the breastplate of the kohen gadol, the high priest of Yisrael. The Talmudic sage Rabbeinu Bachya has said that the special healing qualities of the stones are only empowered in relation to the person with the stone. We have a commentary relating to the importance of the precious stone in the Zohar on the parsha Tezaveh, for this week. It tells us that there are two points in the heaven world. This is the fifth continuum, the dimension of being that fully interfaces with the created world and supports life in the universe. “The kingdom of heaven , which is the side of holiness, is fixed at two points, one it’s own and one belonging to the world to come. The upper point is hidden, and therefore it has two points….In the center of this paradise there is a hidden supernal point which is not manifested, and a pillar rises within that point from below, and from thence issues waters which spreads to all four sides of the world.“ (Zohar II-184b)This pillar from below is connected to the good precious stone that is the namesake for this blog. It also supports the various levels of initiation of persons walking the path of the great temple school that is the source of the great religious traditions. This portion of torah reflects a deep stage of initiation because it does not mention the man Moses as all other parshas of torah have since Moses was born. It is however about the source world of the man Moses and this is reflected in the fact that the numerical value of the letters that make up the name Moshe but are not pronounced in the name, equals the number of verses in this parsha Tezaveh-101(91 verses+10 verses on the incense). Each Hebrew letter is spelled with other letters-mem-mem;sheen-yod-nun;heh-aleph; and all these added up, of the words for the letters mem-sheen-heh are equal to 101(mem+yod-nun+aleph). This is the hidden side of the name of Moses and so this is directly related to the stones of the breastplate and the initiation of the priesthood and of every individual taking this level of initiation in kabbalah. This all hints to the setting up of the Hebrew priesthood, the lineage of Aaron as part of the means for the "return" of Moshe to the created world and the bringing in of the geulah/redemption through the joining of the sacred lineages. The making physical of the Adam Qadmon, the complete human. We must mention the soul of the planet Earth, who is the Shekinah and has the place of Miriam, the sister of Moshe and Aaron.
We are also told two other astonishing things in Zohar here. First is that light only comes from out of Choseyhk-darkness and good from evil! This is the development of the most profound level of Good acceptable to the Creator. “ for there is no light except that which issues from darkness, for when that “other side” is subdued the Holy One is exalted in glory. In fact there can be no true worship except it issue forth from darkness , and no true good except it proceed from evil”(Zohar II-184a).We are also told that the most profound level of idolatry is the worship of a person’s own anger. This kind of indulgence replaces our holy soul and the very connection we have with the being world and the Creator..
Let us put all this together now. We have one rock which is a pillar supporting the connection between the physical kingdom/malchuth and the soul world of Eden. This revealing of this precious stone is the very Tenth song of the redemptive period we have entered. This rock sings/vibrates with the holy gate to the new temple. This rock can be carried by an individual.
There is a man on the Latino world scene now, check out cnn.com, who claims to be the redeemer of Christianity, El Senor himself, and uses the number that is the hallowed hall of the initiation of the line of Solomon. The number of the solar lightning bolt. The total value of the magic square/kamea of the sun=666. We explained where this number comes from and what it means in a previous post. The "sign" of this number-place of initiation comes on to a persons body in letters from the being realm as the Zohar explains it in parsha Yitro(not in a tattoo parlour). This weeks parsha of Zohar tells us emphatically that good comes from evil and we are reminded about the villain and hero of Purim and the contrasts that the entire creation is built on. The very appearance of a person claiming to be the thunder “himself” and tattooing the number 666 on his skin and all his thousands of followers doing the same, is a voice from the chosehyk/darkness. It is a sign of the time we are in, the ingathering of exiles is quickening the world. The sound of the celestial shofar is reverberating through the creation and creating ripples in the world. Even if a person attaches himself to the kelipah/husk of samael who is the prince of desire, guardian of Rome, that person is somehow supporting the root samael who has become Sael, one of the 72 special princes(sael=91=amen=YHVH+Adonai). This has been discussed in previous posts. Even the administrative leadership of the USA with their violent policies instead of diplomacy, to control the world's resources, are related to the shadow of the dominant religion which is a part of the worn out kelipah/husk of samael now transformed. Their political parties sign, the elephant, is an old symbol for imperial Rome. The opposing parties sign, the donkey, carries great significance for the Hebrew prophets. We pray these people who believe in diplomacy and peace will find the huevos/baytzim to stop the violent aggression soon. May the peaceful mother eagle of america who carries the olive branch in her right talon help bring the long awaited peace by the completion of the 19th year of the ingathering in 2008/09.

The book of Enoch explains to us what the difference is between believing that we are the Creator versus carrying the solar lightning of initiation. Enoch as Metatron became wholly fire. Every body part got fried. This is a warning for those on this path.
Yes! an individual may CARRY the line of initiation called the thunder. In fact the Qumran scrolls(dead sea scrolls) give us the possible natal astrological birth charts of initiates, in the part called the “Divination by the Thunder”. This material is directly connected to the tradition of the book of Splendor/Zohar. The true solar number is calculated through natal astrology and the kabbalah of numbers.
We are also given in the Zohar for this week the technological /tool information for “completing the moon” on all sides with the comments about the power of the shofar, the rams horn. The cycles of the moon are involved here. This musical instrument produces columns of vibrating air-sound at the spiral increment of the golden mean proportion and we are told the sound it produces contains the three elements of the three sacred columns-air, water and fire. The golden mean is the mathematical signature of the Creator in the physical creation. With this knowledge the practical kabbalist/shaman can send sound directly to the heaven world and back to the terrestrial. With the wheel of timing that we have discussed-the 72 names and the eclipse cycles which the Hebrew calendar is geared with, we may take an active part in the creative process. Remember we have a total lunar eclipse coming this Sabbath/Purim.

The Red Queen/Sabbath & Purim total lunar eclipse

A full wheel of the year has passed since this blog was initiated. It’s purpose is to explain how the one global wisdom tradition has used the vehicles of the many religious traditions to unify the seventy-two soul roots of the nation groups of the world. This has made possible the bringing in of the soul root, the neshamah of the Earth herself into the human world. We have used the lens of the Jewish kabbalah to explain the workings of how to accomplish this global repair, the Tikkun Olam. We aim to enrich people’s own religious conviction while helping individuals to give up the ethnocentric spin that may cloud the vision of a person to understand the awesome nature of these times.

We have explained thoroughly how the ceremonial calendar rounds of the different language traditions has enabled the joining of lineages that define the kabbalistic scheme of the unification of the seventy-two guardian princes of the nations. This understanding which is clearly revealed in the written and oral teachings of the wisdom traditions helps answer the question proposed by the great Jewish thinker, Abraham Joshua Heschel. The joining of the wisdom lineages is a practical work that is based on the theoretical knowledge of Kabbalah and other streams of the wisdom tradition. This blog has used the ongoing teachings within the ancient Aramaic work the Sepher HaZohar, the Book of Splendour to explain the hidden mystery of the great work. It contains the sacred technology of Solomon and it's relationship to the kochavim/comets as well as the star "windows" as gates in time that mark the period we have entered. This all must be understood in relation to the wheel of the 72 names(read previous post on this)as the great chronometer.
The following quote from a popular current fundamentalist Jewish blog called "End of Days” contains a great secret to the initiates who know where we are now:
“The third and most important marker of change is in the Holy Zohar which says the following in VaYera 119a. The redemption of Israel will come about through the mystic force of the letter Vav, specifically, in the 6th millennium, and more precisely, after six seconds and a half of time. This is a reference to the fact that Mashiach could not come b'itah until after 5666, 6 1/2 months, 6 1/2 days, 6 1/2 hours, and 6 1/2 seconds (1906 on the seventh day of Pesach). When the sixtieth year shall have passed over the threshold of the sixth millennium, the G-d of heaven will visit the daughter of Ya'akov with a preliminary remembrances (a p'qidah). The question then comes down to what year is the threshold. Was it 5666? Well nothing happened 60 years later in 5726 (1966) to indicate that that was the year of the P'qidah.”
On the contrary(Purim celebrates contradictions) something did happen ! And the secret answer involves going to the week of the parsha Vaera(which in Zohar contains this prophecy) for the year following the pesach of the year 5726 . Count from the pesach 5726- six months and a half and you get to the week of the parsha Vayera! For the sacred technology of Israel in the mysteries of the Initiate King Solomon as are herein explained(zohar-terumah) came into direct possession of a candidate for initiation in the lineage of Solomon during a sacred rite of passage for Jewish children. I do not expect the reader to believe what is being said. In fact no one needs to believe these circumstances being revealed. The validation of the basic nature of these events is that after or before(hopefully!) one complete ceremonial 19 year calendar of the Hebrew tradition since 1990, which includes many synchronous events, we will enjoy the global peace that the 19th blessing of the standing prayer/Amidah proclaims. The completion of this 19 year cycle will be marked by the rare Birchat HaChamah/blessing of the sun(28 year cycle) on the morning of April 8, 2009. However the basic premise that the possession of the sacred technology of Israel by an initiate was exactly what made possible the joining of the lineages in 5750/1990 is what the Zohar on Terumah(parsha for this week) is all about. These events led to the movement into the present times, the Kibbutz goliot/the ingathering of exiles. These celestial movements and ceremonial cycles are all directly linked to what the book Sepher yetzira, the primer of Kabbalah calls the level of the Tali, the quivering dragon(moons nodes and eclipse points)that places the "King on the throne".
The coming feast of Purim holds the theme for moving past who we think are the heroes and villains of the great drama. Throughout history the people within each religious tradition has villainized the other religions in order to secure their own success and survival. The opposites are now moving within and without each other. The dance of the contradictions are bringing us into the singularity of this creation. This nourishes our relationship to the singularity of the divine mystery that is the source of all that is. This Purim is heralded by a very deeply colored total eclipse of the moon on the late sabbath afternoon preceding Purim(already Purim in Europe and the mid-east) and actually moving right into Purim Eve at sunset and moonrise! The eclipses themselves are a revealing of the celestial dance of polarity that the physical creation is playing out every moment. This is the theme of Purim. This great dance brings the redemption of the Queen Esther and the full moon who is the community of Israel known as the malchut/kingdom in the mysteries of Kabbalah. The eclipse cycles are directly related to the 19 year Hebrew ceremonial calendar cycle and this lunar eclipse, and the solar eclipse at the next new moon heralding the month of Nissan will help deeply energize our standing prayer for the arrival of the promised global peace. The Eighteenth year of the Ingathering

This Pesach/Spring we enter the 18th year since the return of Eliyahu and the Ingathering of Exiles began in 5750/1990. The following are translations of the last two of the blessings of the standing prayer, the Amidah, made of 19 blessings in total. These prayers along with the Shema are at the heart of Jewish prayer. The Hebrew ceremonial calendar is a 19 year calendar linked to the eclipse cycles. We are now in the period of the standing prayer.
18. THANKSGIVING FOR THE CREATORS UNFAILING MERCIES:We give thanks to You that You are Adonay our Creator and the Creator of our fathers and mothers forever and ever.Through every generation You have been the rock of our lives, the shield of our salvation. We will give You thanks and declare Your praise for our lives that are committed into Your hands, for our souls that are entrusted to You, for Your miracles that are daily with us, and for Your wonders and Your benefits that are with us at all times, evening, morning and noon.O beneficent one, Your mercies never fail; O merciful one, Your lovingkindnesses never cease. We have always put our hope in You.For all these acts may Your name be blessed and exalted continually, O our Sovereign, forever and ever. The signs of the Initiate: The Imam Mahdi could be a Jew!?

This is a very good time to discuss the signs that mark an initiate according to the Sepher HaZohar, the ancient Book of Splendor, and the Qumran, Dead Sea Scroll, tradition. It is a good time because in Islam there is an uproar about the imminent arrival of their complete man, the Adam Qadmon, the guided one called Imam Mahdi. There are details of how he must look when he appears at any moment including, an aquiline nose, the complexion of an Arab, a mole on his right cheek and the BODY OF A MAN OF ISRAEL. This is not my mistake or twisting of the words. Check out innumerable webpages that includes this description from ancient Islamic traditional texts. Of course those who follow this blog will understand. The redeemer initiate of all traditions is none other than the Adam Qadmon, the complete human who carries the unified soul root of all humanity. The Imam Mahdi appearing as a Jew follows in this wisdom and would rectify the spin of ethnocentricity from both great religious traditions. It undoubtedly has already occurred as other signs from the Islamic tradition have already marked the period of the Imams “arrival”. This include the appearance of a flaming Comet from the east(3 bright ones have appeared in the last 10 years) just as Torah and Zohar and other prophecies of Native America and the Asian traditions affirm.
The Zohar on the parsha Jethro for this week has a whole section on the physiognomies, including the letters on the face of an adept-initiate into the wisdom tradition. “For the masters of the inner wisdom the features of the face… are moulded by the impress of the inner face which is concealed in the spirit residing within. This spirit produces outward traits which are recognizable to the world. A person has a spirit in which the letters of the alphabet are designed. For a time those letters enter into the face. The face appears with those letters upon it. But this semblance lasts for a short time only, save upon the faces of adepts in wisdom, on whom it is always visible.”(Zohar II-73b) Further details of the specific placement of the “letters” are given in the Idra Zuta Kadesha, The “Lesser Holy assembly” book found within the text of Zohar. Continuing In Zohar II 78b we have an exposition of the specialness of the constellation of the Teomim, the Gemini twins, and why the twin tablets of har Sinai are given to the people in the month that the twins rule. The Zohar says, “Among all the other signs of the zodiac there is none possessing mouth or tongue but this one has both and the two are one.” In the previous post from last week we discussed how the names of 72 are also a timepiece for reckoning when the special Gemini star-enters the window in time, that allows for the completion of the Adam Qadmon in the physical with the coming of Elijah the prophet. This brings us back to the prophecies of the Imam Mahdi. The traditions have him closely tied to Elijah and Moses whom they call Khidr and Musa. In the kabbalistic tradition these two personages are very involved with the attainment of the Adam Qadmon level of humanity. The discussion in Zohar about the symmetries of the twins and the sapphire tablets of Sinai are meant to be directly related to the signs that mark initiates and further study could be done. The writing from the Qumran scrolls called “The Birth of Noah” contains appropriate related physiognomic information if the reader wishes to continue some incredible study in this area, and if a person thinks they or a child they know may be a candidate for this stage of initiation. As mentioned in another post the Tibetans also have a well developed body of knowledge in this tradition so that they may easily locate their reincarnate Tulku-lamas. All the information is available from the Tibetan, Islamic and Jewish traditions to confirm the signs of a global initiation, in the bodies of people and in the stars in the sky. Spring is coming! Har Sinai is trembling below our feet.

The Solar Root-666/ Tree of Life/Full Moon in Leo

This would be a good time, at the New Year of The Tree of Life at the full moon in the Aryeh/Lion, the Etz Chaim, to answer the last two comments on the last post. The purpose of these writings is to validate the necessity of all the world’s religious traditions for the work called Tikkun Olam or repairing the world. There is a lot of misinformation and disconnected ideas about where we are today in the unfolding of the prophetic vision for our sacred Earth. Some of the erroneous ideas comes from misunderstanding the ancient Christian Gnostic writings such as the dream poem called the “Revelation” which can not be fathomed without a deep understanding of kabbalah and the Hebrew wisdom tradition. The numbers for instance like 666 are all part of the patterns from the ancient kameas, the number box grids, that contain the mathematical symmetries and divine names which are the windows to understanding the realm of being/soul as it interfaces with our world. The kamea of the Sun, a 6X6 magic square(see picture) contains the numbers from 1 to 36 and it’s total value=666. A knowledge of Tanack, the Jewish scriptures, will give a person the connection of this number with one of the great personages in the tradition of initiation, Shlomo HaMelech, Solomon. HaShem offered him anything he wanted but he asked for wisdom and understanding. He took a census and the weight was 666 talents of pure gold. This number involves the pure solar emanative power. In the mysteries Solomon’s great work was to build the Beith haMikdash, the holy temple as the vessel that channeled the flow of energy from the source into the world. He also connects above and below and brings the Queen, the soul of the Mother earth, together with the King, the Divine Source. This involves the most profound levels of the mechanics of the creation. The political-social realm is at the very surface of the ocean of being. To relate the soundbite media events to these deep flows of the divine stream is absurd when one knows what this is really about. The number 666 is not evil although this power it represents, when out of balance in a person or nation, could be a destructive or self-destructive power. Those who know the book of Kings, Torah and kabbalah will know what it means when it says, “Here is WISDOM, let him that hath UNDERSTANDING calculate the number of the Chayah” It is the number of a MAN.”(from the book of revelation-chapt.XIII-18) This statement is only for deep initiates. The Chayah is the special level of initiation of the Chayoth HaKodesh, the living creatures sometimes called “beasts”. It refers to the wisdom of Solomon and the sephirot Chokmah and Binah- wisdom and understanding. These are the two vertices(endpoints) of the continuum(4th) of time- the reshit and the acharit, the beginning and the ending, in Greek the alpha and the omega. It is the number of the person who is an initiate capable of handling the emanative solar force and remaining a human being. In the Asian traditions this is known as the power of the Vajra, the thunderbolt. The number itself in relation to an individual person is calculated in a very particular way, not found openly anywhere in the literature or bible study groups. Here is a valuable secret for helping Christians enrich their own understanding past the spin that made their religion successful. there is a need now for all the religous traditions to move past the spin that ensured the survival and success of the individual tradtion but clouds the truth. Here we have the hallowed place of initiation of the level of the Chayoth. As we know from the Jewish mysteries however this is a possibility for a human being - born the normal way from a human mother and father.
We as a people have entered the epoch where the ability to carry the radiant power, the “Zohar” as the Book of Daniel uses this word, is manifesting. The experiences of people on the path of initiation and the signs that are manifest everywhere herald a global movement into the promised eon of peace. There is no gloom and doom here. The comets are the fiery chariots that herald a global entry into the 40 year period called the kibbutz Golios, the ingathering of the exiles. These exiles are all people who are realizing we are home here in this Earth paradise. The redeemer initiate in every wisdom lineage around the globe is related to the holy Kochav/comet or star scepter. This is a potent sign heralding the era of the great peace in Tibetan Buddhist, Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Islamic, Native American and other traditions. Tree of Life/ Star Scepter and the Great Clock

We are now in the very special month of Shevat in the Hebrew calendar. The coming Sabbath celebrates the 15th day-TuB’shavat, the new year of the trees. This holiday and the entire month is special to those on the path of initiation called Kabbalah. And added to this are the people in the southern hemisphere now, who are reeling from the brightest comet, the great comet of 2007 called mcnaught. The sacred kochav , the comet, is a theme of this blog as well as the particular Shevat, the staff that is the technology of initiation for those involved with what is called the practical Kabbalah in contrast to the theoretical. In the great book of Kabbalists, the ancient Sepher HaZohar commentary on the Torah parsha terumah we have the very secret connection between the kochav/comet and the physical technology of Israel called the “precious gems and fine gold found in the breast of high mountains“. However in this weeks parsha for TuB’shevat, called beshalach, we also have the connection to the technology of Kabbalah described in two forms. These are the staff, the mateh of Moshe/Moses and in the tosefeta/addendum it is called the “ degooshpaneka" the great seal ring. This is particularly related to the holy Shemhamforash, the name of seventy-two(see picture) which is found in the Torah Shemot/Exodus verses”14:19-21. These three verses are the only three in a row in Torah that each have exactly 72 letters “.They discuss what is happening when Moses has the mateh/staff raised and the sea is parting. The Zohar tells us here specifically that the mateh/staff of Moses is used to part the red sea and if used in another manner for “other ends”. Here we will explain the ‘other ends” which concerns the JOINING of the great waters above and below. The Zohar here explains in the tosefta and in a very obscure manner for this is whispered stuff, that we are involved here with the great wheel of 72 above and this is connected directly to the 72 stones(cubic stone -6 faces of a cube X twelve edges=72)below that keep the gates of the waters. This involves how the waters are divided and then joined in order to manifest physical creations and repair /tikkun them. The very source of the soul of Moses himself is also revealed here in Zohar-Shemot52b. "When the hour arrived at which Moses, the faithful shepherd and prophet was to descend into the world HaShem brought forth a holy spirit-Ruach HaKodesh from the depth of a sapphire stone -saphiroo d'eben tavah".

The holiday that celebrates the Etz Chaim, the tree of life(TuB‘Shevat), the staff in the sky that joins the celestial to the terrestrial, the metal-crystal technology(sapphire stone-the sacred staff/mateh-mem-tet-heh(of metatron) and the wheel of the seventy-two names are all very connected for the initiate. They must be contemplated in depth. In the book Birchat Kohanim, we have the reference that one of the seventy-two three letter names is special to the Jewish priesthood. Most kabbalists have used these names for prayer, meditation and deepening their relationship to the divine mystery. There is another not too well known aspect to the name of seventy-two. This is as a sacred timing device for the unfolding of the global initiation we are all a part of. As people who understand sacred geometry we know that the circle can be divided into 72 five degree segments called quinaries in the ancient science of the celestial arts. The ancient diviners of the celestial wheel and the author of the kabbalistic book, Sepher Yetzirah, start the wheel at the first degree of Aries”Taleh”. By beginning the wheel in the month of Nissan(aries) we find that the 22nd three letter name of the seventy-two, is YodYodYod and this is related directly to the Jewish priesthood. In the book Birchat Kohanim/the Priestly Blessing, this relationship is explained because these are the three letters that begin the three verses of the beautiful and hallowed priestly blessing- Yibarececha, Yaer, Yisa. This 22nd quinary is a five degree segment of the celestial wheel of the stars. In fact it has contained a special star for a period of years that we have mentioned in this blog. This is the star beta Gemini, called castor. It is one of the heads of the star twins(Castor and Pollux) and traditionally these stars have been related to special brothers - Moses and Aaron, Jacob and Esau and Jonathan and David. In the meso-american tradition these twin stars are the heads of the lords of light(seraphim) and the lords of dark(ophanim). This is where the picture from the last post comes in. The starry wheel painted on the ceiling of the temple of the earth mother at Denderah Egypt and the temple itself was aligned precisely to the east at this star Beta-Gemini! The wobble of the Earth which the Sepher Yetzira relates to as the great quivering dragon called Tali, causes the five degree segments of the zodiac, the quinaries, to move slowly over 25,920 years against the placement of the stars. This is a grand clock and the alignment of the Gemini star with the quinary sacred to the Hebrew priesthood has been a gate opener for the initiates in Kabbalah and for all peoples who envision a world at peace. The great celestial clock moves one degree every 72 years. This is the one of three movements of the Sepher Yetzira, that “places the Creator on the Throne”. This is the whispered stuff of the real Kabbalah.72X360(degrees)=25,920 year cycle. We entered a narrow window of sky and earth coinciding with the birth of the Baal Shem Tov and beginning of the movement of joy and wisdom within the later Jewish tradition. This has heralded the uniting of the lineages, of priests and royals, “lords of light and lords of dark. The physical throne is now here in the crystalline crust of the Earth. The alignment of this star Beta-gemini with the 22nd quinary(five degrees) sacred to the Kohanim/priests ended just as the predicted return of Eliyahu by sacred kochav/comet occurred. This is why the Zohar predicts precisely when the dawn of the great Sabbath begins in the 5750’s/1990’s.The people’s throughout the ancient Mediterranean considered this Gemini star the “son of the supreme temple” and this is why the ancient Egyptians aligned their great temple of the neshamah - Hath-Hor(house of light) of the Earth, the Shekinah, to this star. Yes the gates are opened now with this alignment with the 22nd name of the seventy-two, the Hebrew priesthood and the starry world of the Tali, the quivering dragon. And yes, there is a scepter(shevat) star, a comet/Kochav in the sky that everyone knows about but not everyone can see except on the web!. These stars come from the realm of the Seraphim and the Cherubim. It is the third “great comet”(brilliant and visible to the naked eye) in the last ten years - Comet hayakutake, comet Hale-Bopp and Comet Mcnaught. These are the Chesed/love;Geburah/strength and Tipheret/beauty of the great Tree of life of Kabbalah. The birth of the red Heifer(Melody-10th and final) in Judea took place during the passing of the second-Comet hale-Bopp(geburah=red) in 5757/1997. These herald the end of the last of the three purifications periods that are part of Jewish and Native American -Hopi prophecy. The Earth is the great temple now. It is extremely rare to have a great comet come by once in a century no less than three in ten years. It is time that we hearken to the words of the tosefta of Zohar for this week, on the line from the book of Shemot 14:19(the first line of three verses that give us the seventy-two names)“Then announcements(heralds) are made. Let him who have eyes, raise them higher and higher -Leaylah Leaylah. Let those who have wings stand firm. Let those who have faces cover their faces … “And the angel of Elohim/ Malach HaElohim” storms”.

Leviathan and global purification

We have an explanation in the Zohar on the Torah portion Bo for this week, that goes into elucidating the place of the Leviathan and the beasts in the waters, called the Taninim/dragons. These inhabit the waters “below” from after the firmaments were separated. A relationship is explained here about the two inclinations, good and evil and the two kinds of angelic beings that guide the individual. In other words the expanse of the firmaments of the world is established by the expanse as well of the moral dimension in the world of soul/being. We call this expanse the fifth continuum or dimension, in these writings. These are enumerated and explained and named in the end of this section of the Zohar. We can learn to navigate these waters of a sanctified ten directions(6 of space, 2 of time and 2 of being) or we may experience the inverse of the sacred-the ten plagues. We are either in the "restricted" narrow space of ancient egypt/mitzrayim or in the promised land of milk and honey. The leviathan, the great “fish dargon” we are also told here, has a natural creative place in the story. We are reminded that this “fish” is kosher!. As humans we have the choice of pursuing desires for our own personal satisfaction and promotion, sometimes to the loss of others, or we can lift up these raw animal desires with the sparks of compassionate love. The “fish dragons” after the likes of the great leviathan we are told inhabit all the nine rivers in the subterranean worlds and sometime the tenth. These are nine of the ten directions a human may travel in the entire creation. The “fish dragons” are natural and an important part of the fauna of the created world. They are not “demonized”. They are kosher! Although this writer does not claim anything more than an average level of moral accomplishment, this blog is oriented to helping establish the global peace that has been promised for these times. Part of helping this process has been to explain the importance of many of the world’s religions in the light of the scheme of the Jewish mystery tradition. For us to keep the higher vision now we must understand some of the socio-political events that are happening now without demonizing any individual or group or nation. The apparently elusive world peace we seek appears to be very dependent on America, the political and economic Roman like giant of the globe. This country is dominated by the Christian calendar and values. According to the rabbinic sages this is a legacy of the biblical Edom=Rome. We have the eagle and the senate. Ancient rome became Christian. The mysteries of Christianity are connected to the Jewish mysteries and we must understand how this is for us to see why the unfolding of prophecy is happening the way it is. The new testament book of revelation was a Gnostic dream poem of a Jew who was given a power to write and help shape future events. He was told in chapter ten of this book, by the angel of the seven thunders, not to write what he saw in his vision. He was told to write what the messenger dictated to him. The great “war” and apocalypse foretold in the Christian writings is a reflection of the shattering of the shells held in the “waters” of the great fish beasts. They by their nature DESIRE world control but they have not achieved this. This is an integral part of their nature. Remember the Zohar tells us that only the male of the Great fish dragon was left alive. The female was destroyed early on in order to keep the physical creation in tact. The Talmudic writers promise us that we will dine on the flesh of the Kosher beast, the great fish. They tell us that the world will never be destroyed even though two of the great beasts are fighting right now. The third “flying” beast of the air element, the ziz bird, was already defeated by Moshe Rabbainu/Moses. We are told in Talmud that the beast of water and the beast of earth are fighting each other. They are defeating each other. The “apocalypse=great conflagration” of the dominant religion in America is only the defeat of these powerful subterranean desire beasts to control how we live our lives. The Sepher HaZohar here on this weeks parsha of Bo, gives us a lot of how each human has the choice for the good inclination or the evil inclination. We are told that the evil inclination can repent and become the good inclination.We are told that we have both the two sets of beings with us, the four great archangels by our side or the four angels of destruction called, anger, destruction, depravity and wrath(Zohar -Shemoth41b). We always have the choice. The test now is global. Violence does not solve our problems now. The Zohar tells us here that the world is said to be supported only by the merit of the breath of small school children who have not tasted sin(Zohar 39a).
We are still way down in Egypt land in the cyclic story within Torah. The Pharaoh man in this story, and the control he exercised is easily equated to the “deification” of the desire beasts, the crocodiles in the ancient pantheon of Mitzraim/Egypt. Not all the people in the real ancient Egypt deified the desire beasts with their raw and horrible power and devouring potential. They did acknowledge the beauty of the muses and the soul of the mother Earth whom they called the House of light - Hath - Hor(aleph-vav-resh=light in Hebrew). Her temple at Denderah in egypt, with it's awesome sky chart of the stars(see pictures) holds great keys to the mysteries related to the Hebrew seventytwo names, the shemhamphorash, as found in next weeks torah parsha, Beshalach. Our Sabbath Queen has been respected by many diverse peoples throughout the globe. She has many names.
The people everywhere have struggled with powers of the evil inclination-the yozer ra. They are depicted in various forms. Everywhere also the sacredness of life has been respected by some and given divine status. On the world media scene lately there has been the utter horror of revengeful killings, called either war or “state” sanctioned executions. We have small children mimicking the executions and losing their precious lives. The children are speaking to us with this. A human life is sacred even if the person has been devoured by the “crocodile” of the Egyptian Nile. Hate and revenge is part of the subterranean world of the primordial “beasts“. There will be a time very soon when our children will see a world where human life, all human life is held as such a sacred gift, that no person or peoples and their governments have the “right” to take that life in the name of justice. In a world that perceives the deeper levels of the divine relationship, only the Creator, HaShem, may take a person from the world. At the deepest level, the “beasts” have already been fully vanquished. What we are witnessing in the world is the death throes of these “powers” on a surface level. All is on schedule for the global awakening to the dawning of a radiance, a Zohar, of beauty and goodness. We are being born as a great people, a priestly people on a global scale now. We can hear the music of the great holy House. Shema Yisrael, We are all related.

Fire initiation/new comet/Kochav visible in daylight!

Great mysteries about the path of initiation are revealed in the story of Moshe Rabbeinu/Moses and the ancient commentaries about these episodes. Moses, we have been told was drawn from out of the river, the flowing waters of Chesed, pure unconditional compassion. The Zohar told us on the commentary to last weeks parsha,Shemot, that we must move through the tears of true weeping to come into a viable relationship with the divine mystery. Moses, whose names means “drawn from the waters” has a soul that comes from this place of the waters of love. We are told in the Zohar that this is why this man can withstand the fire from out of the burning bush, which has some of the nature of judgment, geburah. His essence is in the water of Chesed, pure love. These two places, Chesed/water and Geburah/fire are two opposites of the ten directions(sephirot) of the entire created space of the world. Moses is the human discovering the essential root that moves the creation. The Zohar continues to teach us why it is that the Creator can come to Moses with his most profound name. The name El Shaddai was the previous level that the patriarchs were able to perceive HaShem. It is possible however that the matriarchs could have perceived HaShem at a more profound level. There are hints at this. There are great keys in understanding the levels of initiation in this part of the Zohar. These involve the four elements and qualities, the directions of space and the metals. It explains also the source of the twelve precious stones on Aaron's breastplate and their significance. The Zohar on this part has a profound exploration of the metals and elements and directions in the form of wheels very much like the Native American medicine wheel teachings. It says after the long explanation of these things, "All this is a deep mystery, and he who comprehends these words comprehends a great mystery of the supernal wisdom, in which is the root of all things"(Zohar Vaera24b). The book Sepher Eshel Abraham(tree of Abraham)1701CE. has an advanced commentary on this part of Zohar with pictures of the wheels. Our friend JS,jerusalem seeker, brought up the Barzel/Iron and the important secrets in this Hebrew word(in comment on the last post). Here the Zohar goes deep into this in relation to our ability to encounter the divine mystery. We have a lot of incredible secrets revealed right here! As JS in her comment on the previous post points out, the word barzel/iron has a significant relationship to the four directions of space and the four wives of Jacob, the mothers of the children of Israel. This four lettered word contains the word raz in it’s middle, which means secret. The metal iron we are told in Zohar on Vaera(24b) is born from the coldness and dryness of the element earth ALONE. The other three metals mentioned, gold, silver, copper are born out of combinations of the qualities of the directions and elements with the earth (hot,dry,wet,cold) . Barzel is really the deepest point in the creation physically, in a sense, engendered out of the cold and dry Earth alone. The most profound name=HaShem(YHVH) has a mathematical value of it’s Hebrew letters equaling 26 which is the atomic number(number of protons in a single atom) of the element iron. We know from modern science that the absolute cold zero in temperature does not exist in reality, in the created world. Scientists have been searching for it! It would mean the lack of all energy, movement, vibration and change. What is this complete absence of change? I like to think of the "no change"(absolute zero) and the All change"(entire creation)as the endpoints of the fifth continuum(traditionally called good and evil/ tov v'ra in the Sepher yetzira), the crown/keter("absolute zero") and the kingdom/malchut(all change). So the direction of Barzel/iron being the coldest born out of earth stuff is related to the crown itself, the unutterable mystery as well as the kingdom which is Earth. And this unutterable name is encountered by a man in this part of torah. The sages of torah have always said that HaShem is both beyond change and is the very source of change. We are at the heart of the mystery of initiation right here. We are the "dancing tree" with the stream of living metal-iron coursing in our life's blood(adam=aleph(unity) in dam/blood). The human we are told here in Zohar is made of all the elements, directions, winds of change. We are the only created beings that carry all ten directions of the creation, as Moses did, and so we can come into encountering the most profound name of the Creator. We know now that we must have experienced the deepest kind of love, the source of true weeping beyond words. We must find the essence of all the depths or directions we may move within and towards as human beings. This is why the barzel/the deep iron contains the initials of the names of the four mothers of Israel(Bilhah,Rachel,Zilpah,Leah) and all peoples on this journey to the directions of the earth. From here, from the place where we are, we may begin our journey in the desert of Horeb, where the burning bush is encountered and on to the trembling Har Sinai, the full revelation of the mystery of the source of all that is(YHVH) and isn’t(called the ayn soph, the no end). The iron is in our blood. It is also in the sacred stones of the Kedoshim/holies,(one called purple, argaman in Zohar-Vaera23a).”) which is found in the holy vessels of Israel including the ark of the covenant and the breastplate of Aaron as well as his staff. We offer this red iron blood to HaShem in the Jewish naming covenant. Moses we are told in this parsha almost died because he forget the covenant. His wife Zipporah(she who is the dawn) saved his butt on this one by remembering the covenant. The fire/aysh within the iron of the Bris/covenant makes up the very first word of the Torah -BethResh-AlephShin(fire)-YodTav, BR-(ASh) YT-Brit. The rose of Israel, the Shoshanah HaOmakim from the great Song of Songs, contains these mysteries in her colors and qualities. We are told these colors are the red and the white. The red(blood) is the color of the sacred rose, the white(tears) is the color of it’s essence. This is the flower of the omakim, the depths or ten directions. The initiate carries them all consciously in his/her life walk. When we do so we are walking Har Sinai,as a blossoming flower. We have walked through the fire and so we can find ourself fully. We can receive the true name. the Torah is the garment of this name. The Zohar is it’s shining splendour. As Daniel predicted, “And the knowledgeable will be radiant(Zohar)like the bright expanse of the firmament, and those who lead the many to righteousness will be like the stars(kochavim) forever and ever"(Dan.12:3). And a bright sword of the Cherubim(a kochav/comet) is coming by our Earth this very moment with an orbital period in the hundreds of thousands of years(comet mcnaught-see the photo included))! These stars are spoken about throughout the Zohar, especially in terumah. In the Tosefta/addendum to the Zohar on this weeks parsha Vaera, we have a reference to the "bright blade of the revolving sword that guards the way to the etz chaim, the Tree of Life. This is the sword of the Cherubim that guard Eden mentioned in Beresheit/Genesis. These stars are mentioned in various mystery teachings(especially the popular Rudolf Steiner)as an interface with the realm of both the Seraphim and the Cherubim. Remember from previous posts that these kochavim/hairy stars have been recently found by scientists to contain one of the gems found in the breastplate of Aaron, the peridot or olivine crystal. This stone is green and it has a similar content(including iron) although different lattice structure, to another silicate crystal that is often found in the color purple-red. The Zohar says about this, "one of purple hue which gathers light into itself"(Zohar:Vaera23a). This stone which includes iron as well in it's structure, was also on Aaron's breastplate. These two stones, one green and one red contain exactly the same five elements. They have a different matrix crystal structure however. They make up two of the twelve special stones. The signs are everywhere. The gates of Eden have opened.
