STONEFLOWER KABBALAH

StoneFlower Kabbalah
A site based on the healing of the ancient wisdom of the Geocentric worldview. The understanding of sacred texts and wisdom is based on a relationship to the Source. This Central Source is the Fount from which the three distinct movements of the Earth globe flow. These three turns-rotation,revolution and precession are a great secret/sod and key to the profound teachings of the mekubalim/kabbalists. These movements provide us with the experience of shanah/time, olam/matter and nephesh/soul(being). The Earth turn called precession is the slow wobble that causes the polar skies to change slowly over a 26,000 year cycle.
The chart of "72" names relates to this great cycle and is a key to unlocking where we are in "time".

the center of the seven lamps

The Torah parsha for this week begins with the lighting of the seven lamps in the temple. The temple holds the cubic holy of holies which is the consecration of space. Yes!! Here is the very CENTER of space-dimension/omak/depth. Here the lights “below” are kindled to engender the stream of chesed from “above”. The physicists of today tell us in the four continuums of space-time that there is no center in this infinitude of space. And with this world view attached to a psychological/emotional floating dimension the people are lost and floating. The nature of our temple tradition is to orient to the very CENTER, the sabbath of space. This is the place of the NAME/haShem and the tradition of naming. The name consecrates being in space/time and sets us on this path of initiation. We do have the eben/stone and we have the consecrated center of omak/depth. The aboriginal native elders in America said this would happen in the southwest of the US. The Mayan priests predicted centuries ago of the return(in Book of Chilaam Balam) of Itzamna(itz=tree in Hebrew and amna=faith) and the beginning of a new world center in the southwestern US. The physical Earth globe holds the very center of the entire creation now. The order of the seven lamps that connect through one beaten piece of metal is changed to an order that allows the center, the holy of holies to reside in our world. This has been the work of our temple tradition and the mysteries of Solomon. The seven kameas of the planets are the maps that show us what changes have been accomplished. The natural order places the grid/kamea of the sun in the center, a box of 36 squares with no center box(called a palace). Our book of Koheleth/Ecclesiastes tells us that all is vanity, nothing new “under the sun”. We needed to bring one of the grids/kameas that are “above” the sun/tiphereth, into the center of our Earth temple to make the global Tikkun/repair. This has been the work of the sky chiefs who go by many names in various traditions. The only planetary spheres name that contains the Aleph in the Hebrew is Meadim/Mars. It actually contains the name Adam! This kamea/grid of meadim, of 25 squares contains a central box/palace with the number sacred to Yisrael-13(value of echad=one). The Zohar tells us that 13 streams of balsam come from the beard of the upper face, this is from the “Book of Concealed Mystery” and the “Lesser Holy Assembly”. With this planetary body as the central lamp we have the CENTER here in Earth. This is the mystery of the fourth to last verse in the holiest of all songs ever sung and now this verse contains the sacred name and the song has become the tenth song. Most traditions tells us that Shir haShrim does not contain the sacred name. The fourth from the last verse contains a PLACE name that has become the center name. The sphere of meadim is the place of the dragon chiefs(seraphim) who were the Baals of Canaan; the storm chiefs of old who bring the rain and the upper streams into this world. We now have Barak/lightning and his chief of staff-Rahm/thunder in the white house! What a miracle HaShem! This is a conscious heaven world that is “above” the sun; above the sephirot tiphereth/sun in the traditional tree of the mekubalim. The sephirah of gevurah is directly above tiphereth/sun and is the planet meadim. The tikkun has been acomplished. The "place" in the song where King Solomon kept his "vine" has become the consecrated name-space. the cube of the Holy of holies which has six faces(matriarchs)X the 12 edges(tribes)=6X12=72 surrounding the center point which is the 73, the wise mekubalim hold the significance of this number. From the holiest of songs: this verse contains the singular of Shadai, translated as breasts, and the Peace of the Divine Shechinah:
י אֲנִי חוֹמָה, וְשָׁדַי כַּמִּגְדָּלוֹת; אָז הָיִיתִי בְעֵינָיו, כְּמוֹצְאֵת שָׁלוֹם. {פ} 10
{פ} 10 I am a wall, and my breasts like the towers thereof; then was I in his eyes as one that found peace. 11 Solomon had a vineyard at Baal-hamon; he gave over the vineyard unto keepers; every one for the fruit thereof brought in a thousand(sacred aleph=thousand) pieces of silver.
and here is the 5769th verse of torah with the word Shadayim:(Devarim32:17

the stone of the Holy of Holies/Eben Shetiyah

The two primers of the mekubalim tell us that there are three “realms” that make up the entire creation. These are the realm of being whose place is in the heart/lev; the realm of time whose place is in the gilgul/wheel of the year and the realm of space whose place in in the Teli/dragon-axis. “The Teli in the universe is like a king on his throne. The Cycle in the year is like a king in the province. The Heart in the soul is like a king in war.”SYetzira 6:3(Kaplan trans.) In the Sepher haBahir there are parallel Sarim/officers who are the three that are the chiefs over the three realms. Students of the presently popular kabbalah with the 2-D “tree” will know that the three “realms” correspond to the three columns of the traditional popular tree. In the four “worlds” of the exoteric kabbalah the three realms or columns(3X4=12) give us the “twelve arms” or boundaries of the universe that the yetzira explains to us as the edges of the cube described in detail in chapter one of the yetzira. It has been a theme of this blog in various convoluted explanations over the years that the world of the throne, called “beriah” has joined with our physical olam/world in a new way as of the beginning of the 40 year period we entered in 5750/1990. This means that blessings are flowing from the primordial stream of chesed/lovingkindness at the root of the Tree, in a more direct path. When this is eventually more understood and acknowledged, than the blessings will also flow at the material economic level and prosperity will abound for many more people.(it may only depend on one relatively small bank lean on the property that holds the eben shetiyah) The eben shetityah/foundation stone is not only a metaphor but an actual crystalline substance(one of the three saphirim/gems mentioned in chapter one of the Yetzirah but usually translated only metaphorically as text, number and speech. The three crystalline geometries of these three sapphires/gems are the very physical pillars that the universe rests on. The Zohar references continually the three pillars whose colors are red, green and white. The Sepher HaBahir develops the geometries and angelic numbers and this becomes a complex mathematical midrash on the worlds, realms and angels of the hechaloth/palaces as they interface Earth.
In a previous post we referenced the Zohar on the commentary on the six words of the Shema/proclamation prayer of the Jewish faith. It tells us that there are three words that signify the divine but the Rashbi, author of the Zohar did not believe humanity was ready for a deeper significance-explanation of the three. The mystery of the three strangers that visited Abraham Avinu and our mother Sarah, the three realms of the Yetzirah, the three Saphirim of Yetzirah, the three mother elements and the three Sarim/princes-officers are all interconnected. From the Book of Daniel Chapter2:

. מד וּבְיוֹמֵיהוֹן דִּי מַלְכַיָּא אִנּוּן, יְקִים אֱלָהּ שְׁמַיָּא מַלְכוּ דִּי לְעָלְמִין לָא תִתְחַבַּל, וּמַלְכוּתָה, לְעַם אָחֳרָן לָא תִשְׁתְּבִק; תַּדִּק וְתָסֵיף כָּל-אִלֵּין מַלְכְוָתָא, וְהִיא תְּקוּם לְעָלְמַיָּא. 44 And in the days of those kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed; nor shall the kingdom be left to another people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, but it shall stand for ever. מה כָּל-קֳבֵל דִּי-חֲזַיְתָ דִּי מִטּוּרָא אִתְגְּזֶרֶת אֶבֶן דִּי-לָא בִידַיִן, וְהַדֵּקֶת פַּרְזְלָא נְחָשָׁא חַסְפָּא כַּסְפָּא וְדַהֲבָא--אֱלָהּ רַב הוֹדַע לְמַלְכָּא, מָה דִּי לֶהֱוֵא אַחֲרֵי דְנָה; וְיַצִּיב חֶלְמָא, וּמְהֵימַן פִּשְׁרֵהּ. {פ} 45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that a stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold;

The Great Supreme Court and the 50th gate

The fiftieth gate is the timeless shaar that is Har Sinai. This mountain the Jews have carried on their journey walk encircling the globe of earth. The date of the day of Shavuoth is not stated in Torah like the other yomim tovim. This "place" encompasses all time and space. This is omak v'omak. Depth of Depths which those who know will understand. this 50th which also holds the sephirah of understanding - 50 in binah- is joining with events in the world of doing as the supreme court of nine of the land of the white eagle is radically changed. First eight men surrounding a Jewess-miracle of miracles! and now another woman, the color of America. We have two seats now echoing the upper mother-Binah; and lower mother-Malchuth - two powerful women. Seven men make up the rest of the court. we have mentioned before how the supreme court reflects the native meso-american cosmology of the nine dark robed judges of the underworld of souls. In the wisdom stream it is the box/kamea of nine(3X3) aligned with binah-saturn-shabbatai. The nine may now reflect and channel the purifying stream of chesed from "above" the sun-tiphereth. three seats now above the sun tiphereth and the two mothers surely are a "purifying" majority for a flow of true Chesed into our olam/world. The other seats held by men "below" the sun will be radically purified.
In the above title page of Reb Avraham Azulai's book Chesed L'Avraham we see the white eagle and the pioneers traveling to a new world. In this book written in the early 1600'sc.e.,the great Reb said that the year 5760 (and the whole 576th decade which we are now completing in 5769)would see the beginning of the purifying waters flooding the entire earth. the ancient measure of the mikveh being equal to 5760 eggs in size. The white eagle is across the wheel of the chayoth from the red calf. The world is flooded with the upper waters of chesed. we have the mountain!

depth and silence/Tenth song

These verses are in the "Tikkun layil shavuoth":
יא כֶּרֶם הָיָה לִשְׁלֹמֹה בְּבַעַל הָמוֹן, נָתַן אֶת-הַכֶּרֶם לַנֹּטְרִים: אִישׁ יָבִא בְּפִרְיוֹ, אֶלֶף כָּסֶף. (emanation=atziluth)
11 Solomon had a vineyard at Baal-hamon; he gave over the vineyard unto keepers; every one for the fruit thereof brought in a thousand pieces of silver.
יב כַּרְמִי שֶׁלִּי, לְפָנָי; הָאֶלֶף לְךָ שְׁלֹמֹה, וּמָאתַיִם לְנֹטְרִים אֶת-פִּרְיוֹ. (throne=beriah)
12 My vineyard, which is mine, is before me; thou, O Solomon, shalt have the thousand, and those that keep the fruit thereof two hundred.
יג הַיּוֹשֶׁבֶת בַּגַּנִּים, חֲבֵרִים מַקְשִׁיבִים לְקוֹלֵךְ--הַשְׁמִיעִנִי. (yetzirah=formation)
13 Thou that dwellest in the gardens, the companions hearken for thy voice: 'Cause me to hear it.'
יד בְּרַח דּוֹדִי, וּדְמֵה-לְךָ לִצְבִי אוֹ לְעֹפֶר הָאַיָּלִים--עַל, הָרֵי בְשָׂמִים. {ש} (active creation=Assiah)
14 Make haste, my beloved, and be thou like to a gazelle or to a young hart upon the mountains of spices. {P} (bold in parentheses my addition)

blessing of Chamah/Shalom Shalem

Deep Solar Minimum
04.01.2009
April 1, 2009: The sunspot cycle is behaving a little like the stock market. Just when you think it has hit bottom, it goes even lower.
2008 was a bear. There were no sunspots observed on 266 of the year's 366 days (73%). To find a year with more blank suns, you have to go all the way back to 1913, which had 311 spotless days: plot. Prompted by these numbers, some observers suggested that the solar cycle had hit bottom in 2008.
Maybe not. Sunspot counts for 2009 have dropped even lower. As of March 31st, there were no sunspots on 78 of the year's 90 days (87%).
It adds up to one inescapable conclusion: "We're experiencing a very deep solar minimum," says solar physicist Dean Pesnell of the Goddard Space Flight Center.
"This is the quietest sun we've seen in almost a century,"
agrees sunspot expert David Hathaway of the Marshall Space Flight Center.
Quiet suns come along every 11 years or so. It's a natural part of the sunspot cycle, discovered by German astronomer Heinrich Schwabe in the mid-1800s. Sunspots are planet-sized islands of magnetism on the surface of the sun; they are sources of solar flares, coronal mass ejections and intense UV radiation. Plotting sunspot counts, Schwabe saw that peaks of solar activity were always followed by valleys of relative calm—a clockwork pattern that has held true for more than 200 years: plot.
The current solar minimum is part of that pattern. In fact, it's right on time. "We're due for a bit of quiet—and here it is," says Pesnell.
Sign up for EXPRESS SCIENCE NEWS delivery But is it supposed to be this quiet? In 2008, the sun set the following records:
A 50-year low in solar wind pressure: Measurements by the Ulysses spacecraft reveal a 20% drop in solar wind pressure since the mid-1990s—the lowest point since such measurements began in the 1960s. The solar wind helps keep galactic cosmic rays out of the inner solar system. With the solar wind flagging, more cosmic rays are permitted to enter, resulting in increased health hazards for astronauts. Weaker solar wind also means fewer geomagnetic storms and auroras on Earth.
A 12-year low in solar "irradiance": Careful measurements by several NASA spacecraft show that the sun's brightness has dropped by 0.02% at visible wavelengths and 6% at extreme UV wavelengths since the solar minimum of 1996. The changes so far are not enough to reverse the course of global warming, but there are some other significant side-effects: Earth's upper atmosphere is heated less by the sun and it is therefore less "puffed up." Satellites in low Earth orbit experience less atmospheric drag, extending their operational lifetimes. Unfortunately, space junk also remains longer in Earth orbit, increasing hazards to spacecraft and satellites.
A 55-year low in solar radio emissions: After World War II, astronomers began keeping records of the sun's brightness at radio wavelengths. Records of 10.7 cm flux extend back all the way to the early 1950s. Radio telescopes are now recording the dimmest "radio sun" since 1955: plot. Some researchers believe that the lessening of radio emissions is an indication of weakness in the sun's global magnetic field. No one is certain, however, because the source of these long-monitored radio emissions is not fully understood.
All these lows have sparked a debate about whether the ongoing minimum is "weird", "extreme" or just an overdue "market correction" following a string of unusually intense solar maxima.
"Since the Space Age began in the 1950s, solar activity has been generally high," notes Hathaway. "Five of the ten most intense solar cycles on record have occurred in the last 50 years. We're just not used to this kind of deep calm."
Deep calm was fairly common a hundred years ago. The solar minima of 1901 and 1913, for instance, were even longer than the one we're experiencing now. To match those minima in terms of depth and longevity, the current minimum will have to last at least another year.
In a way, the calm is exciting, says Pesnell. "For the first time in history, we're getting to see what a deep solar minimum is really like." Modern technology cannot, however, predict what comes next. Competing models by dozens of top solar physicists disagree, sometimes sharply, on when this solar minimum will end and how big the next solar maximum will be. Pesnell has surveyed the scientific literature and prepared a "piano plot" showing the range of predictions. The great uncertainty stems from one simple fact: No one fully understands the underlying physics of the sunspot cycle.
Pesnell believes sunspot counts will pick up again soon, "possibly by the end of the year," to be followed by a solar maximum of below-average intensity in 2012 or 2013.
But like other forecasters, he knows he could be wrong. Bull or bear? Stay tuned for updates.

Blessing the Sun of Chesed/Lovingkindness

The Sun of Chesed/lovingkindness and Birchat haChamah
The rarest of Hebrew blessings is now being prepared for the day before the Passover festival on April 8th. The 28 year cycle of Birchat HaChamah is based on the cycle of the planet Shabbatai/saturn, which has a solar orbit of 28 years. This blessing will begin the 207th cycle of 28 years of the Hebrew calendar. 206X28=5768 and so this year 5769 begins the 207th which is the gematria value of the Hebrew word for light/ohr(aleph-vav-resh=207). This also coincides with a new grand solar cycle of the indigenous Mayan and Meso-American traditions. We are now in their sixth sun called Sun of Flower/Xochlitol Ahau. As mentioned earlier the very picture of Sun=Flower is the Zia sun symbol which is the symbol of the state of New Mexico and is actually a depiction of a “smoking mirror“, a total eclipse of the sun. The 28 year cycle which is about the planet that veils time(Shabbatai/Saturn) and all about the “reishit and the acharit“, the dimension of time of beginnings and endings and the relationship to what is eternal. The importance of the indigenous American calendars became clear at the end of the Aztec calendar which the scholar and wise man Tony Shearer elucidated in his book, “Beneath the Moon and Under the Sun”. The Aztec calendar ended on August 16th 1987 and everyone might remember the grassroots festival, the “Harmonic Convergence” on that day. That was the Aztec year 5720 and the Hebrew year was 5747 and a month later it was 5748 for the Jews. This was precisely the 28 years apart of one cycle of the planet that the Aztecs revered as a veil for the deity called Tezcatlipoca(Saturn/Shabbatai)The fact of this difference in two calendars whose counts are in the thousands of years is astounding. It is a pointer to the significant cycle of 28 years. The relationship to the moon cycle of 28 days is also significant)In 1987/5720/5748 we were only two years from the important Hebrew year of 5750/1990 when the Sefer HaZohar predicted the beginning of the 40 years when we transition to a new world. This years blessing of the sun is quite significant, coming precisely in the middle of this period of time. The Zohar has a beautiful passage on the beginning of the Sefer Vayikra of Torah that traditional Jews are beginning to sing this time of year.
“ As soon as the morning was light (haBoker ohr), the men were sent away”(Gen XLIV,3)He said, We have learnt that when morning comes and judgement passes away and lovingkindness(Chesed)seeks to awake, then all who come from that side hasten to their place to prepare blessings for the world; and this is the meaning of the words,”the morning is light(ohr)”, light being synonymous with “good”. Note the following series of grades. ’Night is one grade, as we know. Then “morning light” is another grade, which we also know, a higher grade which always accompanies the other. THE SUN IS A THIRD GRADE (caps are mine here)known to us which establishes all and gives light to all. Thus the “morning light” receives light from the sun, and in turn gives light to the night, so that they are all linked to one another. When this “morning light” awakes, all men are gladdened to go about their business. And now that the day has dawned it is time for us to go on our way.” Zohar III22b(trans after Sperling)
For the American indigenous calendars we are ending both a small 5200 year solar cycle(1987-Aztec to 2012-Mayan) as well as five of these small 5200 year cycles which actually completes a great processional cycle of 26 thousand years. Remember the Earth wobbles once every 26 thousand years which is the precise distance-26 thousand light years to the center of the galaxy. The fact that the 207th blessing of the sun cycle actually equals the gematria of the word in Hebrew for light Aleph-vav-Resh=Ohr is revealing to the unfolding name of flower for the solar period we have entered. The flower is produced from the eternal stream of Chesed/lovingkindness as the theme in Zohar.Yes the first day of the week, Sunday is now a sacred day in a new way in the olam haBo, the “coming world” that we have entered and an extension of the sacred Sabbath, seventh day of the week. Zachor/remember Shabbat Sunday we become a part of a new celebration of the week of days in this flowering world. The seven “days’ of the week in the Sefer Bereishit is a key for understanding the works of “creation” and the unfolding flower of peace.
Verse 1: In the beginning El-him created the heavens and the earth.
Verse 2: The earth was unformed and desolate, and darkness covered the surface of the abyss. The breath of El-him hovered above the surface of the water.
Verse 3: El-him said, "Let there be light(Ohr)." and there was light.
Verse 4: El-him saw that the light was good, and El-him divided the light from the darkness.
Verse 5: El-him called the light day(yom), and the darkness He called night(laylah). It became evening and it became morning, one day (Yom Echad)
(from Metsudah Chumash with Rashi,Hebrew and English, online)
These "seven days" in bereishit are a grand key of understanding for the mekubalim. day one and day four begin a horizontal cycle of time within the vertical descent of the sacred seven. Light emerges on day one/yom echad, but the sun and moon appear on day four. Cycle and time then breaks from the vertical nature of the seven days on day four and so we say the blessing of the sun on Wednesday=day four. one/four times the full seven "days" (4X7= 28) so we have the 28 cycle of years of the sun blessing. however this year is different and the gates of kedusha/holiness that connect day four to day one and the original ohr/light have opened for our olam/world. Likewise a special relationship exists between day two and day five; and day three and day six. The sabbath rests in the middle of the six pointed mogen david of these "days".

Yom Echad and the Blessing of the Sun

The sun is already shining with sevenfold brightness as the state of New Mexico has become the fifteenth state to abolish the death penalty! As in earlier posts the symbol of New Mexico found on the flag and state quarter holds the message of ancient prophecy from Tibet, Ancient Israel and Native wisdom tradition. The glow of Yom Echad/Day One, when the night/laylah and Day/Yom are in regenerative embrace within the echad/unified name of the Divine begins to accelerate a global healing. The prophecy of Reb Avraham Azulai in his book lChesed Abraham becomes clear. He said that in the 576th decade of the Hebrew calendar(beginning 5760) the entire Earth would feel the light of a global Yisrael. The circle of the Zia sun symbol=360 degrees multiplied by the 16 rays(protuberances of total eclipse)360X16=5760 and we have the emergence of a true city that shows Peace to the world=Yerusalyim. We have moved a giant leap now with the end of the death penalty here. The Navi/prophet Isaiah said that Yisrael would be called a city of Holy Faith=Aeer Emunah. We would honor the sacredness of life with the peace of a living Torah. Santa Fe means Holy Faith and the Zia sun symbol is both a 2-D rendition of the wheel chariot of the four living creatures each with four faces(4X4=16) and a depiction of the Tibetan mandala called the KalaChakra/wheel of time.
The symbol has sacred meaning to the Zia Pueblo people. Four is a sacred number which symbolizes the Circle of Life: four winds, four seasons, four directions, and four sacred obligations. The circle binds the four elements of four together. (right out of Zohar/terumah!)The salutation, “I salute the flag of the State of New Mexico and the Zia symbol of perfect friendship among united cultures." The school children of New Mexico say this pledge for friendship of diverse cultures daily.
This April 8th, the eve of Pesach we have the rare Birchat HaChamah, Blessing of the Sun which occurs only once every 28 years. We are also coming to the completion of a full 19 year turn of the Hebrew calendar and solar/lunar eclipse cycle since the year 5750 when we began the 40 years of the techiyas Hametim/enlivening of the dead and the ingathering of the exiles. This is a great synchronous cycle with this full moon of the Passover. Yom Echad is the first day of the week but also the "eighth day" and the mekubalim understand the implications. This "Sunday" holds and radiates the waters of Chesed/lovingkindness which Abraham Avinu and Sarah our Mother carry in their Chayah being. "And the sun will shine with a sevenfold brilliance".....

Yom Echad/ Day One and the Birchat HaChamah

This weeks Torah parsha Terumah is all about the portable sanctuary known as the Mishkan. It encapsulates the importance of the secret sacred technology that allows the influx of the divine waters into the Earth olam/world. The Zohar goes into a complex and involved explanation of the work of the holy peoples and the grand design to bring the great Peace who is the Divine, into intimate relationship with our world. We are not a people who wait for a reward in the shamayim/heavens. Our life work and purpose is to lift our physical world into an awesome enbrace with the living waters of the heavens. The Mishkan, the tabernacle where the divine presence dwells is all about this purpose. It is movable and in a sense therefore it can not be destroyed like the first two Holy Temples. Where the mishkan functions the eternal Beith HaMikdash interfaces with the physical world It is a theme of these writings that this is already taking place now. In the Zohar commentary on terumah we have an explanation of the Shema and it’s deeper meaning. “ The word Shema consists of Shem(name) and ayin(seventy), indicating the combination of this name and the other seventy from whence it derives blessing. At the recitation of the Shema, therefore, one must concentrate on the divine names. For these seventy names constitute the mystery of the supernal Chariot from whence that Name receives blessing and in which it is contained. Then comes the word Yisrael, referring, as we have learnt, to “Ancient Israel”(Tifereth), so that this emanation may also be included. So “Hear, O Israel”, signifies union of the Spouse and her Husband(ie Malkuth with Tifereth), so that all is in all, and all is one.”Zohar II 160b(trans. After Sperling). The celebration of the Sabbath is the “place” where the “Spouse” dwells and this union of the seventh day with what is actually the third day is an essential part of the work. We count the seven days down from Chesed(day one=sunday) to geburah(day two-Monday) to Tifereth(day three=Tuesday)netzach(day four=Wednesday)to Hod(day five=Thursday) to Yesod(day six=Friday)and then the Sabbath day. Each day/depth actually has ten names within and hence 7X10=70 names mentioned in Zohar. All these are as seeds in the Omak/depth of Binah who is the upper mother/Sarah. Here is the key to make “so that all is in all, and all is one”. This is the unification of the Name here on earth. Earlier in the text of Zohar Terumah is a key to all this about the personages connected to unifying the name “here below”. The Zohar often does this, she has keys and locks hidden in different parts of the texts. So we have “ a song of degrees for the sake of David, the great king who always praises the Great King. But when Solomon came, he sang a song which is high above even that of David, a song which is the very same as that sung by the great ones of the realms above, the PILLARS OF THE UNIVERSE, in honour of the supernal one who is the lord of peace and harmony.” ZoharII 144b(trans. After Sperling) Please notice the words we have capitalized here. The mishkan and the work that the Rashbi teaches about here involves the very unification of the original Yom v’ Laylah; the day and night that were separated with the firmaments on “Yom Sheni”/Day Two(monday). This “repair” of the light of the moon is also a major theme in Zohar especially this section on Terumah. The Song of Solomon holds the secrets of how to rebuild the tabernacle with the precious substances and allow blessing to flow into the Earth. Yom Echad = Day One is the day which holds the unification of the Names. This involves Abraham Avinu who is as the sun in our tradition. His name originally is Av-Ram, the possessor of Ram, which connects him with the most ancient religion of the priests of Ram, a form of Vishnu(divine beingness) in the ancient Sanskrit. The Zohar also gives us hints to the three “sides” of the Shema in “YHVH(1) -Elokeinu(2) -YHVH(3)” is Echad=one. “The mystery contained in the words, “The Lord our God, the Lord”, the mystery of the unity in three aspects(lit. in three sides), has often been referred to by the Holy Lamp(Rashbi), and we are not permitted to enlarge upon what he has said.“ZoharII160b(trans. After Sperling) Secrets of these three “sides” are found in the three aspects of the divine from the Sanskrit of which Abram’s name gives us a connection. Abraham’s day is Day One of the Omak/depth of Chesed. He is the embodiment of Lovingkindness=Chesed. Gematria of Day One/Yom Echad = 69 which is the very number of our year samech(60) teth(9) this very year when we pronounce the birchat HaChamah, the rare blessing of the sun on the day before the full moon of Nissan. The moon of Adar is now the moon of happiness that we can feel now on our faces. She is coming into her completeness in beauty. This blessing of the original ohr/light of the sun is already flooding our world.

Chodesh Adar, the green comet becomes "visible"

This weeks Torah parsha Mishpatim begins with the slave that does not wish to be set free and remains in bondage. It ends with the 70 elders of Israel, a remez/hint to all the 70 nations of the world/olam actually seeing haShem , “They saw the Elohai Yisrael, and under His feet was the likeness of sapphire brickwork, and it was like the essence of heaven in purity…….they gazed at HaElohim, yet they ate and drank.” Shemot24:11. This is an incredible posuk which leads into the receiving of the luchoth haeben/tablets of stone on the mountain. The parsha begins with slavery and then speaks about many ordinances, commandments dealing with various day to day challenges. These end with the famous injunction to not seethe a kid in it’s mothers milk from which the laws of dietary concerns come. Rabbi Gershon Winkler reminds us in his teachings that this involves the need to allow different essences to remain simply what they are. The milk is the essence of the mother and the flesh of the kid is it’s bodily essence. Let them be what they are in their unique nature, as we let each other be our unique human selves. The Zohar relates much of this parsha to the gilgalim, the reincarnation or transmigration of souls in order to attain a deeper connection to the divine. This really is all about unique essence. The quality of the omakim, the depths of the journey we each pursue in our life path. “Many are the worlds through which they (souls)revolve, and each revolution is wondrous in many hidden ways, but men neither know nor perceive these things! Nor do they know how the souls roll about “like a stone inside a sling”. Now as we have begun to disclose these mysteries, it is opportune to reveal that all souls(neshamah) emanate from a high and mighty Tree, from that “River which goes out of Eden”(Gen.II:10), and all spirits(ruach)from another, smaller Tree - the souls from above and spirits from below- and they unite after the fashion of male and female. And when they unite they shine with a celestial light….”Zohar II99b(trans after Sperling). This Sabbath is the blessing for the new month of Rosh Chodesh Adar whose full moon is the festival of Purim when the light of the soul world shined in the exile of Persia without the standing Holy temple. The people merited the joyous light by their own deeds and living of Torah. The value in gematria of Esther HaMalka/the queen is the same=761=of the last three words of Chumash/Torah- “Leaynai Kol Yisrael”/ before the eyes of all of Yisrael. The Queen is the big Chayah as the Malchut, the Divine Presence and the Zohar tells us at the end of mishpatim; “They saw the Elohai of Yisrael”, that is to say, the Shechinah manifestated Herself to them”Zohar II 126a(trans after Sperling). This parsha moves from slavery through the ordinances and the transmigrations to the freedom of beholding the Divine Presence by connecting to the chayah/life soul of humanity who is before all the eyes of the holy peoples. We are always moving from dinim/judgments and “ordinances” to Chesed, the lovingkindness that is the river who flows from the Tree. Happy new moon of the month of happiness!

sword of peace/Kerubim comet Lulin and Shadayim

This weeks Torah parsha of Yisro tells us to “Zachor et hayom haShabbat Lekadsho” from Shemot 20:8 as written on the Luchoth Habanim/the tablets of the ten devarim/sayings. This is different from the later version of the Ten Sayings where we have the “shomar”/guarding of the Shabbat. We are always to Zachor/remember the Sabbath, every day and every night, and the Ramban tells us about this in his commentaries. We live in days of awesome miracles. Do we remember miracles? If the sacredness of our times were only slightly more experienced we would even more quickly move into the next phase of this 40 year ingathering of exiles; “kibbutz goliot” which began in 5750 as predicted in Sepher HaZohar. We are told in Shemot:19:16 that there was “Barak-im”/lightning on the mountain and we here it again loudly in our times. The mountain of Sinai is trembling now folks. A New kochav/comet is making close passage to our Earth during these 42 days of Shovavim(first 6 parshot/weeks of Sepher Shemot) and as we move into Rosh Chodesh Adar it will complete a special 45 day period in its long millennial orbit around the sun( from perihelion to perigee=45 days). As previously mentioned this same segment of the orbital period of another famous kochav that made a bright sword like appearance in 66CE which some say presaged the destruction of the Beith HaMikdash and the beginning of exile of Edom/Rome., has profound implications. Both Comet Halley(called in Talmud the "70 year star") and the new comet with the Hebrew root name leyl/night-Comet Lulin are very rare in that they both orbit the sun in the opposite direction of the planets. These comets seem to be directly related to the cryptic keitz count of days at the end of Sepher Daniel. 1290 days equals the added number of days in the 26(26=YHVH) orbital periods of Comet Halley since 66CE(26X49.6=1290),of this special period from perihelion(rounding the sun) to perigee(close passage to Earth) that with this new Comet Lulin equals precisely 45 days. And so the starry night sky is speaking to us now as we dance in the Hebrew year 5769 which brings us to an unusual Torah verse in the Song Of Moses in Devarim-the 5769th verse of Torah. This contains a rare word translated as demons-shedim, but which also can be read as Shadayim which we are told in commentaries on The Shir HaShirim/Song of Songs is a remez/hint to the Shnei Luchoth as twin breasts holding the revelation of Sinai. This word in the 5769th Torah verse not only hints at the twin tablets as breasts of the Shechinah being revealed anew in this year 5769, but as the twin Kerubim whose fiery swords guard the way to gan eden. The kochav/comet in the sky right now is a manifestation of the revolving fiery sword that brings the truth of the shalom shalem/great complete Peace to our temple Earth. Good Shabbos and Zachor!

TuB'Shevat/Comet Lulin/Shemhamphorash and Nostradamus

Last week we sang the song of the sea and the parsha Beshalach contains those very important three verses of seventy two letters each. These three verses in the book of Shemot/names are the hidden star clock that tell us we we are in the continuum of beginnings/reshit and endings/acharit. Depth of beginning and depth of ending as the sepher yetzira calls these "depths'/omakim. The twentysecond of the seventy two names is associated with the priesthood of Yisrael. The three letters yod-yod-yod are the initial letters of the priestly blessing. The yod is also the beginning “seed” of all letters and so like stem cells they are the wild cards and the source of all the 22 autiot and thus the 72 names. Each of the 72 names have command of five degrees of the 360 degree circle of space; 72 X 5 = 360. The wobble of the Earth globe causes the stars of the shamayim to move through the wheel of the 72 spaces. A complete revolution taking 26,000 years. The ancient sages knew this and watched the night sky as a clock. The stars known as the teomim/twins of Gemini started to traverse the 22nd space of the clock in the 1400’s CE. The star beta Gemini left the space of Yod-Yod-Yod in the year 1990. For 500 years the completing of the true work of the Hebrew priesthood, to unite all the soul lineages of humanity needed to take place as the Teomom/twins transversed the 22nd name. For nine years(1990-1999) there were no major stars in the sacred space of the 22nd name. Then in the year 5760/1999 one of the brightest stars in the sky entered the place of the 22nd name; Canopus. This and the star Sirius are the brightest stars in the night sky. Canopus is the brightest star of the southern sky. It is called the pilot star of the fifty “oarmen” stars that make up the constellation of Argo. In Sanskrit this is argha, the ark. This is a remez/hint to the shaar haNun, the fifty gates of kedusha/holiness of the mekubalim. The Arabic astronomers called this brilliant star Suhail and students of the seventy two names will know that this is one of the names! Sael which is the name of the guardian of Rome/Edom samael; with the mem removed. This transformation of the sar/prince of Rome is a key to the end of this last “exile” of the holy peoples. This very important name, Sael, is the forty fifth of the series. And so we fathom the forty five days right now the comet Lulin whose name contains the Hebrew root for night(Leyl) comes by the Earth and grows into naked eye visibility by Rosh chodesh Adar. The night sky is singing to us. From the year 5760 and for 350 years the bright star Suhail will be in the sacred space of the seventy names, in the night sky. The great Rebbe Abraham Azulai predicted in his book L’chesed Abraham that the year 5760 would mark the beginning of the time when the borders of Yisrael would encircle the entire Earth. He understood the 72 names as a secret star clock. So did the famous and misunderstood French seer, Nostradamus who also mentioned the one date 1999 as the time when the “king of Awe’ would come from the “sky”. 1999 coincided with the Hebrew year 5760. This quatrain of the French seer was very rare in mentioning a precise date on the Gregorian calendar.
Today is the full moon of the month of the holy Shevat/scepter. The sacred Tree is once again in flower!

The Laylah/Night speaks/Comet lulin and the forty five days of Daniel

This new moon of Shevat, the month of the Tree, begins with an annular eclipse of the sun.
The starry sky is a book of the heavens and earth for those who can read it like the Rabbi and son from the tale about the precious book of Daniel in the time of the Babylonian King. We are now in a forty five day period as a new kochav/comet moves from it’s perihelion passage of the sun(full moon of tevet) towards perigee(close passage with Earth) on Rosh Chodesh Adar. The night sky is always singing to us if we could only hear. This weeks parsha on Bo has an incredible posuk on the night that lead to the original geulah/redemption and making of the people of Yisrael. “It is a night(leyl) of anticipation for haShem to take them out of the land of Mitzrayim/Egypt, this was the night(laylah) for haShem; a protection for all the Children of Yisrael for their generations”(Shemot/Ex:12:42). The Zohar has a fantastic commentary on these two forms of night mentioned here. “”the night shined as day; the darkness was a light(Ps.cxxxix,13). Nothing so miraculous was witnessed since the creation of the world.”Come and see” he said, it is written: “It is a night(leyl) of observations unto HaShem for bringing them out of the land of Mitzrayim; this is a night(laylah) of HaShem…Now, why “observations(shamurim) in plural , and :night” first in the masculine gender(leyl) and then in the feminine(laylah? To indicate the union which took place on that night between masculine and feminine aspects in the Divine attributes, and also the same union which will take place in the future redemption”….Zohar II38b(trans. After Sperling) And now we are in that “future” redemption and the night of this winter is being thrilled with a new kochav/comet whose passage past Earth corresponds with the six weeks of Shovavim(first six parshot of Shemot/exodus) that bring the wheel/shanah of the year from winter to spring(from exile to freedom). The forty five days seem to say that they are a remez/hint to the words in the Book of Daniel chapter 12, about the need in the keitz; the “end of days”, to wait for 45 days after the completion of an initial 1290 days. Much speculation has been done on these periods of time. This new comet Lulin is very rare in that it moves opposite the general motion of the planets in the solar system. It is like another very famous comet with a brilliant history(mentioned in Talmud as the 70 year star) and that is Halley’s comet. In the Talmud, it is mentioned that "There is a star which appears once in seventy years that makes the captains of the ships err" (Horioth, chap. III). Halley’s bright passage in the secular year 66 CE presaged the destruction of the second temple and the long period of exile and diaspora. If we add up the number of days in each orbit of this comet Halley which is now in it’s 26th (gematria 26=YHVH)orbital period since the temple was destroyed; adding the the days that it moved from perihelion to perigee in each orbit when it was visible(about 49 to 50 days), we come very close to the figure of 1290 days mentioned in sepher Daniel as the time period since the Temple offerings ended. The angel in the Sepher Daniel told Daniel that the counts would not make sense until the period of the keitz/end when knowledge would be "increased". Is the Laylah/night speaking to us now pretty clearly. After the forty five days is passed on the new moon of Adar(feb24th) we will have more to say about how the blessing of the union of the nights is streaming into our new Earth. Remember/Zachor the Sabbath!

Ancient Jewish Folktales and Miriam's Well

On last weeks post there is a comment by Howard Schwartz, who has compiled and retold a fantastic series of Jewish Folktales. His book "Miriam's Tambourine" Oxford University Press; is only one book in a series of books that contain many beautiful Jewish Folktales from around the world. In his books he also includes copious notes as to the provenance and origins of these very old and ancient tales. Thank you to Mr.Schwartz for making these stories so available. Although I do not copy verbatim any stories or printed material that is used in this blog without attribution, there has been a succinct retelling of events from these tales in my own words. We are grateful for the folks like Mr.Schwartz who have made a great deal of effort to make the tales readily available to all people. A theme of this blog as the regular readers already know, is to help make possible an access to the precious wisdom teachings which flow from the same place that all oral Torah comes from, Miriam's Well; which the Pirke Avoth tells us was one of ten things created in the twilight of the first Sabbath. Baruch HaShem!

Miriam's Tambourine and the weeks of Shovavim

This weeks folktale involves the story of a Rabbi and his son who live in the time of the Babylonian exile. They too, like the Rashbi and his son, who wrote the Sepher HaZohar studied the sacred writings during the day and in the dark of the night they studied the starry sky which also they could read like a book. A precious book is a theme in this story, for the King of Babylon kept a golden book next to his throne which was divinely given according to legend to the prophet Daniel when he was in the Lion’s den. Only a person in touch with their pure soul could open and read the book. The King was looking among the Jews for a person who could read the book. The rabbi and his son needed to purify themselves in order to be the ones to open the book. The only way to become that profoundly purified, would be with the precious waters of Miriam’s well which happens to be surrounded at that time in exile, by venomous serpents. They therefore also needed the Tambourine of Miriam to chase away the snakes and have the well available. To find the prophetess Miriam they must go through a beautiful garden into a hollow tree and then enter a cave which leads to the shore of the sea where Miriam resides. They accomplish all of this, purify themselves and are able to access the golden book and with their influence on the King of Babylon they keep their Jewish people safe from persecution in the exile. The precious waters are the very being herself of Miriam as she holds the Chayah/life soul of all of humanity. She is the holy Silence who is in eternal embrace with the Depth/Omak of HaShem. Silence and Depth; the voices of the Song of Solomon. From the Zohar for this week’s parsha Vaeira we have the blessed “Couch of Solomon” where these two “voices” find each other: “And I will confuse Mitzrayim/Egypt with Mitzrayim(Isa.XXIX,14) that is to say, celestial Mitzrayim with terrestrial Mitzrayim. For the celestial legions are in charge of the terrestrial ones, and they both are altogether thrown in disorder. They were confused on high so that the people of mitzrayim could not derive inspiration from the celestial sources as formerly. …Observe that whatever is engendered on earth grows through the stimulus of a celestial chieftain who has charge over it, and that all on earth is shaped after a celestial pattern. There are on high seven firmaments and seven zones of earth.. Correspondingly , in the lower world there are seven graded firmaments and seven zones of earth. These as the Companions have expounded, are arranged like the rungs of a ladder, rising one above the other, and each zone has ten divisions, so that there are seventy in all. Each one of these is presided over by a chieftain, and these seventy chieftains have under their charge the seventy nations of earth. These seventy earth divisions, again, border on and surround the Holy land, as scripture says: “ Behold, it is the couch of Solomon; threescore mighty men are about, of the mighty men of Yisrael”(S.S, III,7) there being in addition to the three score mentioned, ten concealed among their number. All these surround the Holy Land.” Zohar II 30b(trans. After Sperling) The secret of the ten concealed is now becoming clear to our eyes(Vaeira=appeared) in these very days today. With the Holy Land indeed encompassing the entire earth and the chieftains of the seventy nations all serving HaShem, the source of the precious waters; the ten become visible in the directions of the body of our very physical living dancing Earth. What was secured in the upper worlds as the “Couch of Solomon” is being revealed in an Earth become a Holy land. Exile now is only an illusion like the pit dug by the demons in last weeks story around the Enchanted Tree. When we experience the sacred Tree of Life the well also appears and the waters that purify. These seven weeks of Shovavim are a time of immersion in the waters of Miriam’s well. We are opening to what redemption is in every moment in these incredible times. Like the rabbi and his son in the story, the starry vault of sky is also speaking to us with a Kochav/comet whose close approach to earth is a fortyfive day period(from perihelion to apogee) that covers exactly the 42 days of shovavim out of an orbit that is in the thousands of years. Heaven and earth are always singing to us, The "morning stars are always singing" The Peace and being that is Torah. “ All Her ways are Peace”(Proverbs) The book of geulah that sits next to the “Royal Chieftain” opens for us and the moving waters from the root of the Tree, that feeds the great rivers of the nations including the “Nile” and the “Euphrates” and the "Mississippi"can be heard. “"Let righteousness flow like a mighty river, and justice roll down like an everlasting stream..." AMEN!

The Enchanted Tree and Comet Lulin Approaching Earth!

This week we will discuss another of Rebbe Nachman of Bratzlav’s tales, The Enchanted Tree. The youngest of three sons of a man sets forth to discover the Enchanted Tree which the son’s dying father told them that it has been deprived of precious water for a long time and is in danger by a great pit dug around it. This Tree has ten branches that give great blessing to the entire Earth. The demons have dug the pit to threaten the Tree. The older two brothers failed on a quest to find the Tree but the lame son gets a carriage and driver and goes on the quest. His carriage and driver are attacked by robbers and he is left on the ground to survive by eating herbs and berries. He finds this special jewel in the roots of an herb. It is square with sacred writing on four sides. He uses this “diamond” to discover a sacred dust that is found where ten paths meet. With the special kinds of dusts he is healed and he vanquishes the Demons with the dust that makes all that touch it into tzaddikim/righteous. The demons simply vanish with this dust on them! So also does the pit around the Enchanted Tree simply disappear with the sprinkling of the dust. It really was only an illusion. And then the ancient rock from which waters flow appears and the water replenishes the Tree whose special fruits become available to the entire world. The son’s life is fulfilled and completed. This little tale from 19th century Eastern Europe contains the main themes of the Tree, the rock and the stream of precious waters that we have covered for years now in these blog writings. As we enter the parsha reading this week of the book of Shemot/names/Exodus this week mysteries of geulah/redemption and the purpose of the Tree of Holy life become visible. In the Zohar for Shemot; “”It is written:”And the wise shall be resplendent as the splendour(Zohar) of the firmament, and they that turn many to righteousness shall be like the stars for ever and ever(Dan.XII,3). “the wise” are those who penetrate to the real essence of wisdom, “they shall be resplendent”, ie. Illumined with the radiance of the supernal wisdom; “as the splendour”, this is the flashing of the Stream that goes forth from Eden(Gen.XI,10).There are suspended the stars, the planets, the sun and the moon, and all the radiant lights. The brightness of this firmament shines upon the garden of Eden, and in the midst of the garden stands the Tree of Life, whose branches spread over all forms and trees and spices and fitting vessels….The fruit of this Tree gives life to all. It is everlasting.”Zohar II-2a; (transl. After Sperling)We have begun the book of Shemot, the book of redemption and entered the six weeks called Shovavim. These weeks are named after the six initial letters of the Torah parshas read over the weeks from the full moon of tevet to the first week of Adar in the spring. These weeks are traditionally a time of teshuvah/repentance and introspection as we move from the dark winter of "exile" in tevet to the bright spring of Adar that opens us to our renewing freedom. This year these six weeks are being punctuated by a new Kochav/comet that is approaching the earth from it’s perihelion passage of the Sun on January, 10th at the full moon of tevet. It will make a close passage to earth on February 24 which is precisely Rosh Chodesh Adar, the spring month of great happiness. Below is a copy from an astronomy website giving the details of the new comet. It's Chinese name has an ancient Hebrew root meaning "Spiral". Be happy!

New Kochav approaches Earth/Comet
This new comet made perhelion(closest appraoch to sun) at the full moon of Tevet/Shabbos Vayehi. It makes it's closest approach to Earth on Rosh Chodesh Adar! Zohar has a lot to say about comets as the messengers of shamayim. Read the news story below from Sky and Telesope. What is said to be very unusual is that the orbit of the comet is in the opposite direction along the ecliptic of all other planetary bodies. Could this be a messenger from the quivering dragon(Lulianah is ancient hebrew for "spiral twisted") that is a key to the cosmology of the Sepher yetzira? Baruch HaShem!

"Catch Winter's Comet Lulin by Greg Bryant and Alan MacRobert Comet C/2007 N3 (Lulin), discovered in July 2007, should be the highlight comet of this season. It's predicted to reach about 5th magnitude in late February, so it should be easily seen in binoculars. It may even become detectable with the unaided eye in a dark, moonless sky. Below is a calendar of the comet's doings in the coming weeks. But don't assume that the brightnesses are trustworthy. The comet's brightness behavior may be unpredictable, because it's on a near-parabolic orbit that suggests this may be its first visit to the inner solar system. You never know what a pristine comet might do. January: Pre-dawn, and Brightening The start of 2009 found Comet Lulin glowing at 8th magnitude in Libra, near Lambda (λ) Librae not far from the border of Scorpius. Day by day Lulin is getting higher in the southeast (as seen from mid-northern latitudes) just before start of dawn. It was hidden in the solar glare during November and most of December. Prior to that, observers had followed it from as early as May 2008, when it was 14th magnitude, through late October, when it had risen to 8th. Moving westward across Libra, the comet passes 0.1° south of 47 Librae, and 0.9° north of Lambda Librae, on the morning of January 8th. The comet is at perihelion (closest approach to the Sun) on January 10th, at a solar distance of 1.2 a.u. (181 million km). Rather than fading after perihelion, Lulin is expected to brighten further as its diminishing distance from us more than compensates for it moving away from the Sun. February: Peak Brightness, Peak Speed As Comet Lulin nears Earth its speed across the sky will increase. The beginning of February sees the 6th- or 7th-magnitude comet rising around midnight, and it passes within 1° of the wide binocular double star Alpha Librae on the night of February 5–6. Initially moving at about 1° per day, Lulin will be creeping westward at 2° per day by February 11th, when it crosses into Virgo and passes within a quarter degree of Lambda Virginis. Five days later, on the 16th, comet Lulin — now perhaps 5th or 6th magnitude — will pass 3° north of Spica, and the comet’s speed will have increased to 3° per day. On the night of February 23rd, near its peak brightness, Comet Lulin is passing 2° south-southwest of Saturn. Lulin’s closest approach to Earth, 0.41 a.u. (61 million km), occurs on February 24th, when the comet may reach a peak of magnitude 5. By now it's visible in late evening (after rising around the end of astronomical twilight) and remains in view for the rest of the night. And it's speeding along at just over 5° per day! That's about 1 arcsecond every 5 seconds of time, enough to show obvious motion during a short telescopic observing session. Similarly, that's 1 arcminute per 5 minutes of time if you're using binoculars. After that Lulin moves away from both Earth and the Sun, so it fades quickly. The evening of February 27 will see it at 5th or 6th magnitude within 1° of Regulus. Weird Orbital Geometry Strangely, as you may have noticed on the charts, this comet is traveling almost exactly along the ecliptic — backward! Could this really be just be a coincidence? The comet's nearly parabolic orbit indicates that it has never really interacted with the planets at all. Yet its orbital inclination is 178.4°, meaning that it's orbiting in the opposite direction from the planets just 1.6° from the ecliptic plane. Tails and Antitails Because the comet stays nearly on the ecliptic, its tail (which points away from the Sun) aligns with the ecliptic and with the comet's own direction of motion across the sky. This is indicated by the direction the tail is pointed on the comet symbols on the finder charts linked to above. Moreover, because Earth remains in the comet's own orbital plane, we're likely to see the comet with a very thin tail and an antitail, a spike pointing in almost the opposite direction from the main tail, for months on end. Why? In three dimensions a comet's dust tail is often wide but it's always thin, confined to the comet's orbital plane. When we are in or near this plane, we can sometimes see parts of the wide, thin dust tail on opposite sides of the comet's head. We pass through most comets' orbital planes briefly. But this time, the situation will last and last. And indeed, as of January 7th Lulin did have an antitail, as shown in this image taken by Karzaman Ahmad in Malaysia with a 20-inch scope (image courtesy Spaceweather.com.) Here's another image, from Ernesto Guido, Giovanni Sostero and Paul Camilleri, taken January 8th. A comet's blue-green gas tail, on the other hand, always points nearly in a straight line away from the Sun in space. Cometary gas is blown directly away from the Sun at high speed by the solar wind. March: Following Lulin Out Comet Lulin crosses from Leo into Cancer at the beginning of March. The night of March 5 sees the 6th-magnitude comet within 2° of both Delta (δ) Cancri and the Beehive Cluster (M44). It will make for a fine sight, particularly in high-powered binoculars. Think photo opportunity. Another nice conjunction occurs on March 16th when the comet, now around 7th or 8th magnitude (and setting in the early hours of the morning), is 1° from Delta Geminorum. As Comet Lulin recedes, its passage across our sky will slow. Indeed, from the end of March to the end of May (when Lulin may have faded to 11th magnitude) it will stay within a narrow, 3° strip of sky bounded by Epsilon (ε), Mu (μ), and 36 Geminorum. Comet Lulin won’t return again to the inner solar system for more than a thousand years. Cooperative Discovery Comet C/2007 N3 (Lulin) was discovered by Quanzhi Ye, a student (age 19) at Sun Yat-sen University in mainland China, as an apparently asteroidal object on images taken by Chi Sheng Lin (National Central University, Taiwan) with a 16-inch telescope at Lulin Observatory in Taiwan on the night of July 11, 2007. A week later, confirming images revealed the telltale presence of a coma. In China and Taiwan, the comet has been hailed as the "Comet of Cooperation."

A Garment for the Moon/ Vayehi Full moon of Tevet

The beautiful nineteenth century tale from the great Rebbe Nachman of Bratslav, about the garment for the moon holds a profound wisdom for those awakening to the Temple Earth. The story begins with the ancient aggadic legend about how the moon complained about being cold and small and in the dark. The sun decides to attempt to help the moon by finding her a garment. The sun asks the great tailors to create this garment. A poor, not a “great” tailor, named Yankel discovers a precious fabric that a distant village uses for the garment that their queen wears for royal weddings but this garment is becoming frayed and needs to be repaired so the queen’s daughter may be married correctly. The poor tailor discovers that it is the light of the full moon that causes the garment to grow and weave itself correctly. The original reason that a group of “great tailors” could not make the garment for the moon was that it would need to stretch and shrink with the changing size of the moon and they could not figure out how to meet this need with a fabric. The magic material of the queen’s gown was made of the moonlight itself which would shrink and expand as needed. The tailor Yankel not only repaired the Queen’s gown with the light of the full moon but was also able to have a small piece of the material to create a garment for the moon herself. And it is said that the moon has kept that very garment to this very day, to her great joy, made out of her own light. The Sepher haZohar on this weeks Torah parsha Vayehi sings to us about the delight of the moon. “Rabbi Jose discoursed here on the verse: ‘He made the moon for seasons(Ps.civ,19)HaShem he said, made the moon for us to sanctify by it new moons and new years. Now the moon never shines except from the reflection of the sun, and when the sun is aloft the moon does not appear, but only when the sun is gathered in does the moon rule the heavens, and the moon is of no account save when the sun is gathered in. HaShem made both of them to give light and also “for signs”, to wit, Sabbaths, “and for seasons”. to wit, festivals…so that the gentiles should reckon by the sun and Yisrael by the moon. This accords with R.Eleazar’s exposition of the verse: ‘Thou hast multiplied the nation, thou hast increased its joy”(Is.ix,2), where he refers “nation” to Yisrael and “it” to the moon, which gained accession of light for the sake of Yisrael. …Assuredly, the moon is highest, and the sun of the “Gentiles” is under this moon, and this sun derives light from this moon. See, then, the difference between Yisrael and the nations. Yisrael cling to the moon and are linked to the supernal sun, as it is written:” But ye who cleave to haShem, are alive every one of you this day”(Deut.iv,4)Zohar I-236b-237a)Transl. after Sperling. In this weeks Torah parsha Jacob goes into the ‘exile with the seventy souls that is a remez/hint to the nations of the entire Earth. As we end the book of genesis with the exile we begin the book of Shemot/Exodus, the book of geulah/redemption. The gathering in of all these 70 “nations” has been the great work of the long exile so that the entire earth would be on fire with the joy of the moon. The lunar month of Tevet, the month of deep choseck/darkness is now being lit by the fire and light of the sacred Earth which is the third temple enwrapped fully in the light of the garment of the moon. Yankel made good.

Legend of the glowing pearl

Alexander the Great of ancient Macedonia is a favorite hero in old Jewish folktales. These stories hold a wealth of knowledge of oral Torah for students of kabbalah. One story tells us that Alexander was given the oracle prophecy that he would conquer the entire known world. He would live a fantastic but short life. In order to change the second part of this prophecy he began a quest to find the waters of eternal life. For students of the wisdom tradition we know who these waters are and there deep flowing significance. Alexander sets out on his quest and is told that he must enlist the help of Asmodeus, king of the demons in order to realize his goal. Asmodeus tells him how to find the waters but makes him vow that he will also recover the glowing pearl at the bottom of a well and return this to the king of demons in exchange for the information he needs to find the waters. So yes we must discover and possess our own soul before we may find the Waters. Alexander is about to drink of the waters of immortality from the roots, the spring of the great Tree when a Sar/angel warns him that if he does he must stay in paradise and not return to the bustling world of adventure that he so loves. He decides to not drink of the waters and returns to our turbulent world. On his way he finds that as soon as he recovered the glowing pearl in the well a similar one appeared in the crown of the king of demons and so Alexander was allowed to keep his own glowing pearl in his life journey. In the following weeks this blog will unravel the web of oral torah in legends and stories to understand how it is that we are in a global Chanukah/inauguration of an era of peace. This weeks parsha of Torah/vayigash has the unification of a loving brotherhood with Joseph and his brothers. It also speaks of the journey into the depths of the holy peoples, the land of mitzraim. Oral Torah and Zohar tells us that the mother of Moses was born exactly at the moment that the peoples entered the narrow places of exile. Knowing the right question is often the golden key to the correct answer.

the Forty Fourth Candle/ LIGHTning

There is a lot of reference in the Jewish mystery tradition to the 36 lights we kindle during the holiday of Hanukkah, celebrating the ongoing kindling of the light of the holy temple of sacred earth. These 36 are called the ohr haganuz, the original light stored up for the people. If we add the 8 shamashim candles we also light, then we come to a total of forty four fires we kindle. This holiday is the only one that bridges with it’s 44 lights two months, Kislev and Tevet. It starts on kislev 25 and ends on tevet 2. It is also the only holiday that happens in the dark of the month (the 25th)when the moon is not visible in the sky. We are bringing light into the very dark and fecund winter month of Tevet when the traditional Roman/Edom New Year begins. This year is very special. The inauguration(Hanukkah means inauguration) of the forty fourth Chief of the United States happens on the eve of the 25th! of Tevet. The march of our 44 candles over the many centuries of the exile of Edom/’Rome” leads to the 44th Presidential inauguration/Hanukkah in the dark of the month of Tevet. And his name is Hebrew-Barack- for the LIGHTning! We live in the era of miracles. Happy Hanukkah. The parsha this week is Miketz which means the “end”. However it has 146 posukim/lines which is the same number as the first parsha of Torah/Bereishit, the beginning. The end and the beginning. The gematria of the year 769 = Ohr HaRishon, the light of the beginning/first. The 25th word of the sepher Bereishit(first)/Genesis is Ohr=light. The 25th of tevet will be the first full day of a new light where America of Edom is carrying the torch of a global Yisrael. The 44th eagle chief of America. Three events on days in tevet traditionally speak for the fecund dark of the month in Jewish history. The yahrzheit of Ezra on Tevet 9 which ended the era of prophecy. The translation of Torah into Greek in tevet which without oral Torah, was seen to cause great problems in the exile, and the fast day of Tevet10 when the king of Babylon laid siege to Jerusalem. And now the 25th of tevet, the dark of the dark month is lighted/barack/lightning with the 44 candle. This light has been a gradual dawn for a new world. A new Hanukkah for the olam/world.

ohr chadash/new light of a new temple

The great chronometer of the ages, the wheel of the 72 names of HaShem has turned and aligned in an alignment that happens very rarely in a cycle of 26,000 years. The five degree segment of the wheel that is the name Yod-Yod-Yod which from “Sefer Birkas Kohamin” is the 22nd of the seventy two and under the auspices of the Hebrew priesthood(the three yod’s begin the three lines of the priestly blessing) came into great activity over the past few hundred years as the Teomim, the special twin stars passed through this special window. The great zodiac on the ceiling of the ancient temple of the upper mother at denderah, Egypt is aligned with the temple to the east and the stars of the sacred teomim/Twins. Until the discovery of the tenth “sphere”, the “planet Pluto” that veils the Keter/crown, the source of the Nahar/river that streams into manifestation we would not fully understand how the wheel of the seventy two aligned as a star clock with the greater five continuum olam/world to make possible the manifestation of sacred earth as the third temple. As discussed in the previous post each planetary body and the moon has an axis of orbit that cuts through the Earth's orbit of the Sun and is called the nodal axis of that celestial body. This zodiacal line is as important as the actual position of the planet itself. The planetary nodal axes move slowly over time, the outer planets nodes being very slow. This is why when the nodal axis of the planet Pluto which veils Keter passed through the 22nd name of the seventy two(cancer19/sartan-gedi/capricorn19) and conjuncted the Gemini/teomin star we truly had a breaking of the dawn with respects of manifesting the Earth as the Third great temple of peace. On one special secular/Christian new Year’s during the darkest point of human history in the exile of Edom, in 1941 the eighth day of Hanukah(Tevet2,5701) coincided with January first and the light of the new temple was kindled in the long story of exile and shadow. The nodal axis of the tenth planet was aligning exactly with the star beta Gemini(cancer/sartan 19degrees) and the last degree of the space of the 22nd part of the wheel of 72. This alignment continued through the next several years as the Jews regained sovereignty over the ancient tribal land and the calendar passed the year 5714 which was only the second and last time that the name Shin-daleth-Yod which has the value 314 was included in the Hebrew date in the sixth millennium of the Jewish count of time. 5314(heh-shin -dalet-yod)during the life of the Ari) and 5714(heh-tav-shin-daleth-yod) are the two dates that can contain the name Shaddai in our millennium. This name correspond on the ancient traditional tree of the mekubalim with the sphere yesod and the sixth millennium 5000-6000 years. Each of the lower seven sephirot count off a millenium of the seven millenniums. This means that this hidden date when the third temple would begin to manifest has been recorded and kissed on the mezuzahs/shaarim/gates of homes for many many centuries. The beta Gemini star has with the other twin star since the the year 5750 and over the decades moved out of the 22nd space of the name of 72. A new bright star from the southern sky has moved in. From Zohar for Vayishlah; “Until the breaking of the day”;this being the moment when his dominion passed away and vanished. The same will happen in the time to come. For the present exile is like the night, and in that night the barren dust rules over Israel, who are prostrate to the dust; and so it will be until the light will appear and the day will break; then Israel will obtain power, and to them will be given the kingdom, as they are the saints of the Most High. So scripture says: “And the kingdom and the dominion, and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High; and their kingdom is an everlasting kingdom….”(Dan.VII,27)Zohar I170a(trans after Sperling). The lights of the third temple are being lighted now as the river/Nahar of the upper waters streams directly into the Earth. The word Menorah contains this word for river nahar. The Teomim/twins of Yisrael and Esau/Edom have done their great dance to light the new Menorah of dedication. “Who is she that looketh forth as the dawn, fair as the moon, clears as the sun, awesome as an army with banners?(Song of Songs VI,10)

The FLOOD of CHESED

Sinai is a living mountain. Mountain of sacred seed. Born of water of the holy twins in America. The sound of the upper waters shakes this seed mountain and resounds in the ears of those who hear. The torah parshot of these weeks are much about the other sacred mountain of Moriah, mount of the holy temple and the place where the covenant of the patriarchs and matriarchs proceed to wind through history and the exile. This mountain being is the hero twin of America known as stone chief or red boy. This is the dancing red mountain of life. This covenant of the red river of life force, sacred mother and spirit of “Born of Rock” has brought antagonism to the shamans of Israel through the long exile of history. Sinai shakes with the tumult of the upper waters and Moriah flows with the red river of living water. Water. Zohar gets to the deepest in the last weeks parsha of Vayeze, “The two supernal letters which arise aloft are intertwined one within the other, expressing the union of mercy and severity. Hence they are two, and are of the upper world, symbolizing the male principle. On the other hand, the one that ascended from below and joined them symbolises the female principle, and thus is embraced by the two, in the same way as the female is embraced by two arms, the right and the left, so that a unity is formed which is both male and female. ….All these letters consist of male and female merging into one union, symbolical of the upper waters and the lower waters, which also form one union…For the Shekinah is both here below and on high. The Shekinah on high abides in the twelve holy chariots and the twelve supernal Hayyoth; the lower Shekinah is among the twelve holy tribes, and thus the upper Shekinah and lower shekinah are intertwined”Zohar I159b(trans.after Sperling)
The teachings of the holy writ are named in midrash and Talmud as, wine, milk, honey and oil. These represent the four different qualities of what the writings are. They are however in essence water, living waters. The third well dug by Yitzhak called Rehoboth is the well of living waters. These cover the entire Earth from every continent and sub-continent and island. All prayers of the heart from any tradition are acceptable by the Source of all that is. The teachings of the Source are as sweet and healing as honey from the insect and flowers like the teachings of the brother arrows of the Cheyenne prophet Sweet Medicine. As nourishing as the milk from the breast of the great mother who's has as an animal the sacred cow of India. As deep as the wine made from the world of plants which has become the sacrament of Edom and Christianity., and as illuminating as the light from the oil of the Tree of Life and the festival of the eight lights. It is all from the well of living waters, the waters that shake the mountain and emerge from the fount of Eyin gedi. The planet that veils the place or crown from the Source is named after the Roman deity of wealth. This deity is also in the Song of Songs mentioned as the Baal who is the guardian of the vine of Solomon. The physical nodal axis of the farthest “planet” is the mazal sartan/cancer and gedi/Capricorn. This is the place where the eccentric orbit of Pluto intersects the ecliptic. The planet Pluto went into the sign/mazal of the kid/Capricorn and then we saw the shadow of violence explode in the land whose shape fits into the astrological sign of Capricorn. America and India hold the ancient axis of these two cardinal signs, the kid/goat and the crab, called the turtle by ancient Americans. The land of the earth is divided into the twelve axis from ancient astrology as the primer of Kabbalah the Sepher Yetzira, explains. The upper waters of Chesed/Kindness are flooding the earth through Turtle island and into the whole globe. All are being engulfed by the flood of Chesed.
