Sanctified Time and holy speech bring the Divine

A very simple mathematical relationship underlies the beauty of the Hebrew wisdom tradition. This tradition has a main objective. To fill the world with holiness. To achieve this there are mitzvot or deeds that define the parameters in which we relate to each other, the world around us and the Divine. The ancient hebrew culture was an aural one and so the letters of the language are a central focus for the wisdom tradition. There are twentytwo Hebrew letters which are also the signs that represent numbers. Speech, writing and numbering are therefore fully integrated. The sanctification of time is also a prescribed mitzvah or deed. The specialness of the "seventh" day is a well known and beautiful gesture of sacredness in the wheel of time. The letters, and sanctified "Time" establish a primary relationship in the work of "Tikkun Olam", the healing of the Earth World. This relationship can be expressed as 22(letters)in a circle as a circumference with a defining diameter(bridge) of 7(days)for our sacred dance in Time. 22/7 is the closest ratio that yields up the numinous number- Pi- the very divine number that cannot be known, only grasped in relationship, the very "glow" of the circle of Life.
